The Avision Ahead Junior Hockey Shield is truly one of a kind. There are other options out there, but none of them offers the Fog Free Guarantee that Avision Ahead does. The cage is the first of its kind. It is 100% scratch free on both the inside and outside, as well as fog free on both sides. Another feature that the Avision Ahead visor has that is unique from all other brands is the replaceable window. If you somehow break or scratch your shield too much, you can replace the glass without having to buy a whole new cage!

- Two piece polycarbonate high impact mask with a replaceable lens
- 100% Fog free lens (both sides)
- Scratch resistant lens (both sides)
- Polycarbonate cage frame
- Fits all major brand helmets senior small and below, including junior sizes
- Crystal clear vision

careful of the color by Joe from Chicago, IL ratingsratingsratingsratingsratings

Just ordered the Navy version of this. Product is great, fits great, son loves it, however, we ordered a navy one, and it actually is purple, not a purple tone, but purple, not even close to navy. Would rate it higher, just the color mismatch is the problem.

not fog or scratch free! : by domenic from boston, massachusetts ratingsratingsratingsratingsratings

I was using a bauer concept 2 shield and was getting sick of the fogging when i was playing. So i did some research,i found the avision shield and saw that it didnt scratch or fog.I ordered it and was so exited for it to come in.Thefirst practice i got checked and it scratched...next practice it fogged up! i was so sad.Im not sure if something was wrong with mine but your just going to have to see yourself.

The best shield money can buy! by Wayne from Bangor, ME ratingsratingsratingsratingsratings

Simply put this is the best shield on the market but you have to be realistic. No shield is completely scratch proof. It doesnt really scratch but it does scuff. We get about a years worth of of full play hockey before the lens needs to be replaced. If you are in an ice rink it is completely fog proof but if youre outside in subzero temps then yeah it fogs. I just wipe it down with warm water before every use and its good to go. The great thing is that you never have to put the fog spray on it. This mask is crazy strong as it has withstood a full blast slaphot directly to the middle of the mask. Yes, the ears rung but it took it without an issues. We are in our 3rd year using this mask and will never look back.
