Combining the Power Core 3 blade of the TOTALONE and the eLASTech technology of the APX the Nexus is the best of both worlds gaining soft puck feel in the blade and maintaining a strong reinforced shaft. The NEXUS shaft has a great feel with the double concave taper to coordinate with the NEXUS TRU-Mid Flex to provide players with a softer feel to maintain a soft feel and deliver a powerful natural release. Bauer TeXtreme Technology
Exclusive to Bauer hockey, TeXtreme is an ulta lightweight and stronger carbon fiber. With a 20% lighter composition than conventional carbon composites, it reduces weight without sacrificing strength.

Power Core 3 Blade
The Power Core 3 blade is comprised of the Power Core energy absorbent core maximizes power and puck `feel.` While the lightweight Aero Foam II heal(same heal used in the Vapor APX) improves balance and core stability for increase in accuracy.

Nexus Tru-Mid Flex Technology
The Nexus Tru-Mid Flex profile has been engineered to provide players with a more natural release. With a softer handle and hosel areas it allows for a more flexion and, when combined with a stiff middle shaft section, it can deliver a powerful blast with a natural quick release.

Nexus Power Shaft
The square double concave tape is thicker in the hosel area to work in coordination with the nexus Tru-Mid kick to maximize shaft deflection during powerful shots to optimize energy transfer while keeping the blade aligned for accuracy.

This stick is a pretty average stick. Its light but efficient. This stick has a sticky type of thing spread across the shaft of the stick. We found this to be different but very useful, it allowed for my son to have a better grip on his stick. Since he has gotten this stick his shot and passing has greatly improved. Shortly after my son got his nexus several other boys on his team got them as well and had similar results. As a whole this stick was a great purchase and my son wants another nexus for his birthday. The only down side to this stick is how quick the paint chips away, but other than that this is absolutely one of the best sticks my son has ever had!

If you are a Bauer fan and like mid-flex sticks... This is the stick to use. It has an unbelieveable balanced feel, with great kick! Easily the lightest stick Ive ever used, yet it doesnt sacrifice durability, and to top all this off, the black profile design looks great! Bauer really puts out great products and this stick is an example of that. By far the best stick Ive ever used.
