My son loves these skates. He is a squirt and is playing in his 3rd year of hockey in a house league, not travel. These are great skates for a young player, and the price is right. After all, you know your son/daughter will outgrow a pair of skates each year. Im sure some of the more expensive skates have a better feel and last longer, but for a young player just starting out in the game, these skates are perfect.
