The Bauer Nexus 8000 Grip Hockey Stick is this year's premier item in the Nexus Line. The Nexus 8000 utilizes a classic mid kick flex profile that combines the best of both worlds from the Vapor APX line and the Supreme NXG line. This new model showcases Bauer's new PowerSense Blade Core that is meant to maximize puck feel, as well as stick durability. The Nexus 8000's features a Tru Mid Kick Flex profile that has evolved from the Nexus 1000's original design. The shaft gives players a much more responsive feel through a softened upper handle and lower hosel. New for 2014 is Bauer's all-new PowerSense Blade Core, which is lighter and has a better feel for the puck because of higher grade foams than the previous Nexus 1000! We believe this will be a big seller this year as Bauer continues to develop and improve the wildly successful Nexus line of their brand!

Do NOT buy! by Denise from Butler, PA ratingsratingsratingsratingsratings

Bought this stick for my son in May, gave to him in June, after hockey season. He didnt have a chance to use it until August at the State Wars Hockey Tournament - Used it less than 10 times and it broke. Spoke to Bauer directly and they will not stand behind product even after agreeing the stick was barely used based on pics of the stick that they asked me to send to them. Also, call stores in the Pittsburgh area and they informed me my first mistake was buying a Bauer stick. For $259.99 you would certainly think it would last more than 1 tournament.
