Pure Hockey HP Pro Skate UpgradesTo ensure that you are able to get the most out of your skates, we added a few additional upgrades. First, we improved the tendon guard. By reinforcing this area of the skate we are able to offer better protection and reduce the effects of extended use to minimize wear and tear from normal gameplay. We also decided to upgrade the liner to Bauer’s Hydrophobic grip liner. This liner almost completely eliminates slippage to ensure that your foot stays firmly in place. In addition, the Hydrophobic liner keeps your foot as dry as possible, further improving your foot’s grip in the skate.
Bauer HP Pro Skate Comfort and Performance FeaturesThe exterior of the Bauer HP Pro Skate is constructed through the use of injected surlyn. This composition is ideal for skates because it provides fantastic support and stability, while offering enough flex to remain comfortable. For additional comfort the HP Pro uses a FormFit 48oz. Felt Tongue. This 3 piece tongue is made of soft felt on the interior and features a high-density guard foam on the exterior. Not only is this composition preferred by most pros, but by combining these materials the HP Pro will reduce the effects of painful lace-bite and puck or stick impacts on the front of the foot.
Connecting your foot to the ice is a combination of Bauer’s Tuuk Lightspeed Edge Holder and the LS2 Stainless steel runner. Not only is the Lightspeed edge lighter and stronger, but it also allows players to change steel in a matter of seconds, without the use of tools. Imagine not having to worry about missing a shift to replace broken steel! With this combination you are sure to have the perfect connection between the bottom of your foot and the ice.
