I am a competitive athlete at hockey and i needed new shin pads. These shin guards are great. I play forward but i am very defensive minded and i block a lot of shots. These shin pads have held up really well. They also have a really nice calf wrap so when i am srceening the goalie i get a lot of slashes from defensemen and these shin guards make the slashes relatively insignificant. Great Shin Guard!!
