The Liner is the Hydra-Max 2, an update of what was in the X:60, moisture wicking, and abrasion resistant with durable Clarino on the top comort roll to reduce wear.
Form-Fit footbed with dual density support and Ergo-Toe protection that is fully customizable to ideally fir every player.
The Form-Fit 3 tongue fits just as the earlier version, but an expose guard allows laces to slide rather than catch on the outside of the tongue, this prevents lace bite, increases comfort and reduces wear on the skate.
The APX features TUUK`s Lightspeed 2 holder and LS2 Fusion runner, which is a fused steel and Aluminum runner, 27% lighter than a standard steel runner.

These skates are awesome. I converted from Easton Stealth 12s and found these a little stiff at first but after baking them and a couple of skates they were awesome. Great response and super lightweight. I really needed to downsize, wearing a size 8.5 street shoe and went with a size 6 skate. Overall a great upgrade. |

Play a lot of hockey and these skates are durable and provide my foot a lot of protection. While still giving the style I like. For this price there arent any other skates that compare |

These skates are amazingly light and responsive. The feel is great along with the overall look of the skates. Initially went in to look at the x7s but after trying the APXs on it was a no-brainer. Great skate! |

| Amazing Skates by Michael from Gibsonia, PA |

I tried on close to a dozen different skates, working my way up the model lines of all the major brands. The Bauer APX skate was by far the most comfortable skate I tried on by a wide margin. It just felt right. After baking them in-store and skating in them about 20 times I am glad to say they are the most comfortable skate I have ever owned. They are super stiff and take awhile to break in. It likely depends on how hard and often you skate. While mine are not yet fully broken in, they are helping me skate well instead of hindering my performance so dont let the stiffness scare you away. I was concerned about the stiffness but I am so glad I bought these skates. They are also amazingly light. Finally, thanks to Pete and Pure Hockey - Neville Island for patiently helping me out on 3 separate skate fitting sessions. You guys rock. |
