These are a good novice hockey skate for the money. If you are only playing a couple times a week they should serve you well. They are not heat mouldable, so they will take some break in and are a bit narrow in the heel right out of the box. They have a one piece combo blade holder so you can't simply replace the blade, and one of mine was a bit creaky after just a couple skates. All told though a nice light and comfortable hockey skate.

Being a first time player, these skates are perfect! They're very lightweight and durable. I would recommend them to anyone looking to start playing hockey. They are affordable and reliable.
