This skate is made for the budget conscious shopper who still needs the level of comfort and protection that Bauer is so well-known for. The main upgrade for the X 3.0 is in the holder, which gets an upgrade to the LS2 version. You`ll also get a stiffer, more supportive quarter and better cosmetics.

Quarter is made from sublimated Tech Nylon designed for skate stabilty, combined with Bauer`s thermoformed X-Rib Pattern for responsiveness.

A hydrophobic Microfiber liner to dry quickly and keep the skate comfortable.

Anaform fit ankle pads, and a 2 piece, padded, felt tongue adds protection and comfort to the skate.

The X3.0 features TUUK`s Lightspeed Pro holder, and Super Stainless Steel runner.

Price isnt bad for great skates. Of course there are better skates out there but if you are on a budget these are for you. Vapors are made for cross-overs which are vital to hockey and the light-speed 2 blades are what the pros use. Get them molded and you are good to go!

Well made skates that are reasonably priced. Able to sell them after using them and they were still like new.
