Pure Hockey Says: The Bauer Vapor X4.0 skates are the update to the old X:30 line of Bauer skates. Along with a sweet new cosmetic design, the Vapor X 4.0`s are a total performance and durability upgrade from the X:30`s. The outsoles are lighter and the quarter package is now a basket-weave nylon instead of the general tech-nylon and the tongue on these are thicker than the previous versions. This skate is a terrific choice for ANY player and it comes with a very good price.

The Quarter is made of sublimated Silver tech Nylon, with Thrermoformed X-rib pattern for increased skate strength.

A hydrophobic microfiber liner for comfort and quick drying.

The X4.0 features a pateneted, integrated heel and ankle support system to respond to your foot movements, and support you during your stride.

For comfort, there are anaform ankle pads as well as a two piece felt tongue that prevents lace bite, with a guard to add protection.
