Jim Genovese & John Cardin
Hello, my name is Jim Genovese and I am one of two managers here at the Braintree Pure Hockey. I've worked at Pure Hockey since way back in 2003 and I've worked in various locations, most recently managing our Kingston location until I came here to Braintree, one of our largest Pure Hockey stores. I played hockey at Marshfield High School in Marshfield, MA and also played junior hockey for 2 years in IJHL. I attended Suffolk University and am currently the head coach at Foxboro High School in Foxboro, MA. My uncle, John Torchetti, was the assistant coach of the Chicago Blackhawks during their Stanley cup winning run - and I was there when they won the cup and even took a drink out of it!

 
Hello, my name is John Cardin and I am a co-store store manager here in Braintree, MA.  I started working in our Warwick, Rhode Island location in 2007 as a part time employee and then managed the store there until April 2013, when I moved here to Braintree.
 
I grew up in Pawtucket RI where I also played my youth hockey. I grew up playing for the Pawtucket Pirates then later on for the Rhode Island Saints. From here I went on to play high school hockey at LaSalle Academy (Providence RI) where I graduated in 2004. Today I am still playing a few times a week in different men’s leagues in the area.
 
Our team here in Braintree is a seasoned group. Majority of us have played youth, high school and college hockey in the state. We are very knowledgeable in everything regarding the sport. If it’s fitting needs, differences in the equipment, equipment repair or even local teams we will point you in the right direction. Next time your in the area stop by and check us out.
