Pure Hockey of Danvers once known as "Sports Specials" has been in business since September 2001 and is located at the intersection of Rte. 62 and Rte 1 South. Both our Manager Tim Carter and Assistant Manager Danny Marchese grew up locally on the North Shore.
Although, Pure Hockey of Danvers is our smallest store the selection is still great, and we draw in some of the biggest names in Boston hockey history. You can walk into the store on any given day and see the likes of Ray Bourque, Terry O'reilly, Don Sweeney, John Bucyk, Shawn McEachern, etc. shopping and or getting their skates sharpened. This location also has a history with and ties to Hockey Night in Boston, one of the largest showcases for high school hockey prospects looking to further they're playing careers in college.
We pride ourselves in our ability to provide this type of elite level customer with the same great service, sizing help, skate sharpening and hockey knowledge as we are able to provide with the beginner skater taking his or her first strides on the rink. |
