Junior replacement blades for hockey sticks come in two styles, wood and composite. Composite blades are by far the most popular blade, as they don't collect or retain much water and are lighter, which many players prefer. Wood, however, will tend to be slightly more durable and some players say they can "feel" the puck better with a wood blade, but composite technology has come a long way so the feel of the puck isn't really much of an issue anymore. Pure Hockey carries junior replacement hockey blades from all the leading brands like Bauer, Sher-Wood, Graf, Warrior, Franklin and many more. Be careful to check your shaft before purchasing a blade - if you have a tapered shaft, you'll need a tapered blade.
