The A5.2 Hockey Stick is a revolutionary new product from the guys over at True Hockey that we have just made available to you at Pure Hockey! These True Sticks have been turning heads and have even being chosen by NHL players for their feel, weight, & great performance! Unique to True Hockey, the A5.2 features True Hockey's Smart Flex technology. This feature utilizes multiple stiffnesses throughout the stick resulting in improved player performance. The top of the shaft is softer, which allows you to optimize your leverage and power without having to put your entire weight into the shot. Other performance effects from this are a quicker release on snap shots, a better feel on the puck, and more feel when giving and receiving passes. The flex in the lower portion of the shaft is engineered to maximize your leverage on slap shots, one-timers, and basically anytime you need a heavy energy transfer. The True A5.2 is a great deal also! You are getting almost all the same technologies as the top-of-the-line True A6.0, just a tiny bit heavier, and at a great price!

Is the stick length end of the shaft to the heel?

Like is it the entire stick or?
Asked by: LoganSD
Correct. We measure to the end of the shaft to the heel of the blade for our measurements.

How does this compare to the nexus line?

I'm more of a down low player like Wayne Simmonds or Andrew Shaw. I thrive in front of the net getting rebounds but also can carry the puck up ice and snap home a shot on the rush. Should I get this or the nexus?
Asked by: HenryM1726
The True sticks are going to be just a little bit lighter than the Nexus 8000, and have a slightly lower kick point, though it is still considered a "low-mid" kick point.

Is TH selling the grip or non-grip finish?

The product name suggests that these are non-grip, but I just wanted to be clear.
Asked by: Heipfam
It is not full on grip but is does have a soft coating along the shaft that allows your hand to stay in place and slide up and down easily.
