Rated 5 out of 5 by from More Comfortable Than CCM I have a 22" head and purchased a size Medium, helmet only. With a little bit of work and a screwdriver, I put my old CCM cage on this helmet without too much trouble. I love the tool-less adjustments (lengthwise only). My old CCM helmet gave me bad headaches due to pressure around my temple area, this helmet seems to have fixed that. After trying on a bunch of higher-end helmets, I don't think you'll find a more comfortable helmet at this price point.

Are the ear guards removable?

Asked by: MLB9
I removed mine. It only took five minutes. You need sharp scissors or a sharp knife and a screwdriver. You remove the back screw on each side and cut the ear flap off. It is permanent and probably voids the warranty, but I only use it for beer league once a week.
