Bauer Nexus 1N GripTac Hockey Stick

Since Bauer introduced their Nexus line several years back, it has evolved into one of the most popular stick families on the market. Bauer built their Nexus line to provide players with a true mid-kick point on a Bauer stick. This year, on the 1N, Bauer has introduced a couple new features including their Sweet Spot Technology. This is a strategically-placed flex zone in the middle of the shaft which makes for for easy shot loading and a quicker release.

Bauer Nexus 1N Stick Performance

The Nexus family has already become wildly successful, and in 2015 Bauer is only going to further that success. Back from previous models, their Blade Core has been upgraded to the newer Power Sense 2 Blade Core technology which is lighter and has a better feel for the puck because of higher grade foams. Also returning on the 1N are classic Bauer technologies such as their TeXtreme build which is 20% light and stronger than the competition, and their eLASTech resin system which has tested to be over 50% stronger than the resin system in past models. The Nexus 1N is guaranteed to be a top seller in 2015, so order while you can!

2017 Bauer Blade Pattern Chart

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing stick My parents bought me the Nexus 1 N for my birthday. I love it, the sweetsopt technology help me get my shots off quickly. The stick changed my thoughts on accuracy. My Bauer Vapor X700 was a bit heavy and a bit hard to aim. But when I first took the stick on the ice, I played around the world with my Vapor and it took me 4 tries to complete it but with the Nexus it only took me once.

What is The Stamkos Curve Good for

Asked by: aaaaa
The Stamkos curve is designed to be a good puck moving curve so its great for puck movers, it's also good for backhanders. It also has a nice sweet spot for hard shots.

How does this compare to the supreme line and the vapor line

Asked by: ewkjkkkk
The Vapor is a quick motion response stick. This means low-kick point for quick release shots and getting them off as fast as possible. The Nexus is a mid-motion response stick. This means mid-kick point (not bending as much at the bottom of the stick as the Vapor) for shooting with accuracy in all situations. The Supreme is for full-motion shots which means a high-kick point for full motion shooting. If you wind up high for big slappers where the energy is spread through the entire stick.
