Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much more durable than Reebok counterpart I've had these socks for about 3 months now skating twice a week in beer leagues. I am a bigger guy, 6' 275lbs, and these sock fit excellent for me in the larger size. I wear a 15" shin. The length is just about perfect, being slightly on the longer side. I've worn the Reebok's before these and in a 3 day weekend tournament the reebok's had a hole starting in each sock. They were also on the snug side, I don't use shin tape as I feel my pads fit fine with the straps, so a sock being ultra snug is no use to me, imo. In 3 months with the Bauer's, with regular use, there are no holes, some scuffing from pucks, but no tears. The fabric just feel heftier as well. To top it all off they're cheaper and IMO better than the Reebok product. If you need socks, buy these.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good socks, but velcro fell apart First of all if your still using old school knit socks then you have to try these or the or the Reebok socks. By far better form fitting and cooler than their knit counter parts. I own two pairs of Reeboks in the same material and and they have outlasted the Bauers. If I had my pick between the two I'd go with the Reeboks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice socks These socks have a nice, snug fit over your shin pads. They have front & back Velcro attachments, while the Reebok has only front. (And while I prefer no logo, "Bauer" looks better than others out there). Probably unrelated but worth mentioning, I've had 3 goals in my past 2 games. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Way better than Reebok Edge I like these much more than the Reebok Edge socks I have, and I'll never go back to the old-school knits. These will save you money on tape in the long run, anyway, but are also much lighter and more comfortable.

Senior or Int. socks for adult male 5'7"?

Asked by: Greg1987
I would recommend the SM/MD Senior size. It's hard to say, as the length of your leg and the length/width of shin guard can be a factor.

What size sock fits size 14 shin guards?

Asked by: Heipfam
i wear a size 15 shin guard and if you still want that snug filling like your old pair of socks do then i recommend s/m for senior. i know some guys who wear the l/xl and they just seem to baggy to me.
