What is pattern?

Trying to buy a stick for my 8 year old son. Is the Bauer Supreme 170 a good choice? What is "pattern"? What is a good flex?
Asked by: Heipfam
Flex and Patterns are generally always personal preference. The P88 in Bauer is probably one of the most popular patterns. For flex we generally say to use a flex that is about half of your body weight. The higher the flex the stiffer the stick would be.
