New for 2014, the Supreme ONE.9 blocker features a thin profile blocker board made of EPP dual construction. The board thickness measures only 1.375 inches, but the new foam construction allows for the same great protection that you've come to expect from the Supreme line. The board is beveled on the front for better paddle down play, and also in the back (at the cuff) for increased wrist flexibility. Board position is centered over the backhand for great balance.
The side hand protection features a large HD foam shield that completely covers the hand, as well as a new extended forefinger protection that consists of one solid HD foam piece. Thumb protection includes a larg thumb protection pad, and a seam has been added at the base of the thumb to provide for maximum thumb flexion. HD foam shields surround the fingers on the front and on the sides, with larger shields protecting the fingers.
The palm has been upgraded from the previous One90 blocker to be more like the TotalONE blocker from 2012. It is made of a comfortable, reinforced nash material with spring mesh finger gussets for added comfort and breathability.

Key to a Proper Fit:
The blocker should be fitted based on hand size. The goalie's fingers should be no more than 1/4" from the end of the fingers in the palm. If the fingers are too long, chances are the hand tabs that tie down the palm to the blocker are too large. This will cause the blocker to wobble, tilt or rotate on the goaltender's hand, seriously affecting control while limiting coverage (blocking surface).
