RATINGS & REVIEWS

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Skate I've been wearing these weekly for pickup games. I weigh 250, and these have put up with some abuse. I honestly could not be happier.

Can you change the blades out on the lightspeed pros?

Asked by: Heipfam
If you're asking if you can remove the steel the answer is yes. You can also have the holders removed for color customization if you like.

What size should I buy?

I am a size 8.5/9 shoe size (US), but should i get a size 8, because I want to grow into them? I don't want them to be too loose, but I want to be able to use them for a while, and my feet are currently growing. What is your opinion?
Asked by: Anonymous
The standard rule of thumb is that you are a size to a size and half down from your regular U.S shoe size. You would want the skates to be more form fitting then loose. Easiest way to figure it out is to try on both skates to see which feels more comfortable.

Are these skates stiff around the ankles?

My ankles bend in, and I need help to keep them straight, but loose enough for me to push them in when I turn.
Asked by: Anonymous
They will NOT have the ankle support you need if your ankles bend in. You we need a higher level skate boot ($150-$200) to help out.

skate sizing

I take 10 1/2 EE men's shoe size. What size skate should I order?
Asked by: Anonymous
The general rule is a size to a size and a half down from your shoe size. So you will looking at a 9 or 9.5. With a wider foot, down a size should work out best.

Skate size question

I wear a 13 street shoe, would I be able to wear a 12 with and extra pair of socks and have them not be loose? Or go with an 11?
Asked by: Anonymous
Your size would be a size to a size and a half down from your U.S. shoe size. Ex. SIze 10 shoe = size 8.5/9 skate size. A 12 should work, but I would not go any further then 11.5. That is with an extra pair of socks or a thicker brand of socks.
