PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Bauer Supreme TotalOne MX3 Skates are basically what you would get if you took all the greatest technologies, new and old, from Bauer's three skate lines and forged them together into one. To say that these skates are light is an understatement. Bauer's Curv© Composite Quarter Package not only offers unparalleled stiffness, but it makes for one of the lightest boots ever. One new addition this year is the Injected Stability Lacing System from the APX2 boot, with a few minor upgrades. This lacing system has been upgraded to flex better where it needs to, and it uses T-shaped lacing holes to lock your laces in tighter than ever. The MX3 will feature something that the NXG did not feature when it first released, which is the Tuuk Edge Holder. This holder sits 3mm higher, allowing players to get over their edges even more. Tuuk LS Fusion Edge steel is featured in the holders, which because it is blended with aluminum, weighs 27% less than a full steel runner.

RATINGS & REVIEWS

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing pair of skates! I've had the skates on the ice once and wow are they awesome. They fit well in the store with just a little pressure on the toe box area, but after backing them they are as comfortable as my 28+ year old Bauer Supreme skates these are replacing. On the ice they feel super light weight and I feel like I'm faster and can turn tighter then ever before. Still trying to figure out which stiffness to use for the tongue insert, but that will come with more time on the ice. I'm looking forward to getting some more time on the ice and putting these skates to a test! Hoping these last me 28+ years too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and very comfortable I replaced an old set of Vapor XXXX's and was dreading the idea breaking in another pair of skates as those took months of playing about twice a week before I felt truly comfortable in them. We baked the MX3's and skating with them the first time they already felt more comfortable then the vapors, and through the course of 1 game skating on them the first time they seemed to break in fairly quick. These are definitely a skate a person could get comfortable in after a game or 2 which I can't say from my previous skates. Stiff boot but very comfortable and light. I also feel these run true to size compared to my previous pairs of bauer skates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply Amazing After skating with old (lower tier) Vapors for years, I thought it was time to upgrade. Switching over to the Supreme line was my biggest concern, but as soon as I laced these guys up in store, I was sold. Loved the way it hugs my foot. I can't believe how light and stiff the boot is. I skated outdoors first to get the hang of them, and it didn't take long. 3 skates in now, and I am just in love. My mobility and speed have improved, and I just feel stronger on the puck. If you can swing the cost, definitely try a pair of these on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from They won't last 2 years so think twice! MX3 Skates do not last. The new lace system is weak and the stitching pulls apart within a year. Bauer of course will not warranty this. Look for skates that still use the eyelet/grommet system which support themselves much better. One year of Bantam AAA hockey for my kid and already $50 worth of stitching repairs on an $800 skate? My old X50’s are still solid after 10 years. MX3’s are throwaways.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More than a great skate! I purchased this for my 13 year old son who competes at the travel level. We tried multiple skates, and learned a bunch of things. From a Dad's point of view, these MX3 skates had great fit in the ankle, enough arch support, and a toe box that was wide enough. I would say that it fits a normal with through the length of the skate. Really nice features include a superior footbed, easily replaceable steel, a really nice padded tongue that you can customize & better than average laces. Plus the skate is really light, while expected, it was lighter than I anticipated. It also has well designed lace holes, they appear rectangle, are overly enginered, and are easy to lace. They ARE expensive, but in this case you get a fantastic skate, the best I have ever seen in my 20+ years of buying skates for 3 boys.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Skates...Super Light Very happy with these skates. The tongue is great because you can tune the foward flex. Most skates you have to loosen the top eyelet or not use it these allow full range of motion. These really allow you to flex forward and still have lateral support. Watch the button on the bottom and do not lace on top of it and it will not hurt like some reviewers have said. Fusion steel is junk but I found some LS2 on sale. At this price these are a steal!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow, just wow. This is by far the best pair of skates I have ever picked up. They have improved my game dramatically but do come at a $850 dollar price point plus tax. Regardless these skates are well worth the value and will be looking forward to utilizing them to their full ability. -Ryan E

are these available in adult size 7 (which I always thought the most popular or common size)? What happens if I buy these online from you and there's something that's wrong--for me--with them, e.g., they just don't fit right, cause blisters, etc.?

Asked by: JB66
These skates are an older model, and the 7 is unfortunately no longer available at this time. If you buy skates online, you are welcome to return within 90 days as long as they have not been used, baked, sharpened, or altered.

Is it worth it to customize the holder and blade? Is the Tuuk holder and the LS blades better than the CCM SB black blade and 4.0 holder?

Asked by: Stnlyc0p
We think both are great! Both are high level systems that will work at any level of play.

Are these for wide feet? Like I'm not a nexus fit because they are too wide for me but will these feel like Reebok Ribcors?

Asked by: Dust
These skates have an anatomical fit profile. They contour nicely to the foot and ankle, and are not considered to be a wide skate.
