Bauer Vapor 1X Composite Stick

The latest installment in the history that is Bauer hockey sticks is the Bauer 1X, born out of the Vapor line. The Vapor 1X is the culmination of all of Bauer's best stick technologies, new and old. It features the classic Vapor, low kickpoint, but also sports a new and improved look, as well as an all-new taper system from Bauer.

Bauer Vapor 1X Stick Features

Bauer is consistently modifying and developing their stick technologies, looking for any way to improve performance. The Bauer 1X stick is the newest stick of their Vapor line and you will see that Bauer has updated the design several ways. The first and most obvious upgrade is Bauer's new Quick Release Taper Technology (QRT) which is a different look from year's passed. This taper from Bauer is aggressive to increase your shot quickness, giving you the ability to get off a wrist, snap, or even quick slapper with little effort. Bauer's Aero Sense 2 Blade is featured on the 1X, and this Sense Layer is fused to the actual TeXtreme composite of the blade to eliminate materials and lighten the weight of the bled. Just like in previous Vapor sticks, the 1X will feature Bauer's Pure Shot Blade Profile which describes the thickened hosel area that is meant to give your shots more support by eliminating the torsional rotation of the blade during a shot. To top it off, Bauer's traditional GRIPTAC grip coating gives you an unreal connection to the stick, giving you the best puck feel possible!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bauer 1x is a hit!!! I bought this stick a year ago and it is amazing. This stick has not broken yet and I am playing with 40 flex which is pretty incredible. I would recommend this stick to people of the age from 11-17.

If I am 63 inches tall will the junior fit me

Asked by: Cole2430
Sticks should usually measure to you nose when you are flat footed and your chin when you are on skates.

How long is the stick including the blade? And if I'm 4'11 and 85 lb should I use junior or intermediate?

Asked by: Mariya
From top of the shaft to the heel is 49". Seeing how you are 5 foot and 80 lbs I would think junior would be best for you.

I'm 4'10 90lbs. Should I use a junior or a intermediate one?

Asked by: Jsnipes10
Definitely a junior because i'm about the same hight but a little bit taller and I use a junior stick but since you are in high school i would get it in 50 flex and cut it down if needed because with 45 flex you would probably snap it.
