Bauer X300R Youth Roller Hockey Skates

Whether your heading down to a local sport court or playing some good old fashioned street hockey, there's something to be said for playing hockey in shorts on a beautiful day. These inline skates from Bauer also provide an excellent platform for players to practice throughout the off-season, while enjoying doing so.

The Hi-Lo Chassis is among the best available in terms of simulating the stance players use when skating on ice, enabling you to work on your stride away from the rink. The chassis is outfitted with Bauer's street hardness wheels, meaning they won't get chewed up outside like their softer-gripper counterparts. The thermo-moldable boot and 1 piece felt tongue allow for a snug and comfortable fit; while the tech nylon quarter package is durable enough to hold up to pavement, with a reinforced abrasion guard to protect your skates high wear areas on the outer toe.

If you can't get your fill at the rink, maybe it's time to take your game to the streets!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Engineering Flaw Hi. I have purchased Bower equipment all of my life, and was overall pleased with this model, except for one thing, and I am sorry to say that the Bauer Vapor X300 inline hockey skates have a slight engineering flaw that was overlooked by the manufacturer. I am 5'11" and weigh about 170 lbs. and when I am skating, the 2nd wheel from the front rubs on the under sole of the skates. I used these for about 1 1/2 hours in an indoor skating rink, and I'm sad to say that I will be returning this product. All of my other Bauer inline hockey skates have a recessed area for that second wheel so it doesn't rub on the under sole. I will be sending pictures with this review, and returning the skates via UPS.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good skate for off ice practice recreation use I was looking for decent inline skates for a rec inline league and for off ice practice. My feet run wide and these seem pretty comfortable although i havent brolen them in. Cant really tell you about durability yet but they are really protective. Bearings and wheels seem really nice. My son wears 14 size shoe so what size skates and where to fined

Asked by: Shellsouthard
Inline skates fit like hockey skates and would be about a size to a size and a half smaller than your normal show. If he is a size 14 you would want to check for a size 13 or a size 12.5

What is does Hi/Lo chassis mean? does this simulate a the rocker of an ice skate?

Asked by: hockeydog44
Hi/Lo means it will use two different size wheels; a larger pair in the back and a smaller part up front. It does not fully simulate an ice skate, but gives the inline skate a different feel.

The inline and ice boots for the Vapor line run very similar in size.
