Looking for top tier skate features without having to spend top tier money? Step into the new JetSpeed Maxx 2.0 skates from CCM and see that high performance doesn't need to come with a high price tag.
The original Maxx skate was based on the wide RBZ boot that CCM previously utilized. The new Maxx 2.0 is constructed in the form of the JetSpeed boot, which is far narrower than that ofthe older RBZ, offering a closer fit. The outer quarter is stiff enough to stand up to the wear and tear of competitive hockey, and the tongue will provide good protection from lace bite.
The outsole is vented to help keep your feet dry during the game and to maintain the light weight of the skate even as you sweat into it. Mounted on the bottom of the skate is CCM's SB +4.0 holder, which is 4 millimeters taller than the traditional CCM holder, allowing you to dig deeper into your turns and extend your strides further without bottoming out the skate. The steel utilized is the carbon reinforced SB Black, which will maintain an edge for longer than stainless steel.
