Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Comfort Purchased these skates about 2 weeks ago, decided to wait to review them until after I skated in them a few times. So far, I've reffed 6 games and played 2 wearing the new skates. First couple of games there was a little discomfort due to different angles and whatnot. Worked a double the other night and hardly felt like I was in skates they were so comfortable. As far as the cornering, these skates are great. They hold the edge a lot better than my old Reebok 16K's, and feel 100 times better as far as comfort goes. Of course when buying any new skate you should get fitted, and try different widths to get the best fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible comfort I had to retire my CCM Pros since the liner started to come apart after 5 years of heavy use, so I decided to go with CCM again (loved my old skates). Checked all Jetsppeeds at my local Total Hockey store and the 300's were the best for value/built ratio. The tongue on the 300's does have an actual shield for lace bite protection that the lower models don't have, this was the most important factor for me since I had to make a shield hard plastic shield for my old Pros ( lace bite hurts bad) On the Ice things felt different since these skates are taller, had a bit of discomfort on the side of the foot but hey, they're new skates, so that's expected. I went straight to play with them. At the second game I felt that the skates were almost broken in which is incredible, after the third game they feel like I've had them all my life, these things are so comfortable, they're worth every penny. They are well built, look fantastic and are very very light, my advice: spend the extra hundred or two and get you these 300's, you will not regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very impressed I purchased my first pair of Tacks in 1970 for $72.00. I calculate those same skates today would cost about $450.00. Later bought Super Tacks then Micron Mega 1090's and have been using them for years. I was considering the Jetspeed 290 but at the last minute decided on the Jetspeed 300. I baked them at 220 degrees for 2 minutes and sat in them for 15 minutes. That process really wrapped them around my feet. Went for my first skate today and laced them up pretty tightly. These skates are much lighter than all my previous skates and stiffer but comfortable. They stand a bit taller than my old skates and the blades are really smooth and fast. They were so stiff, I was initially reluctant to skate backwards or stop too fast but after about 30 minutes, they really started to loosen up and I began leaning hard on the edges, making fast tight turns and I was really impressed by how smooth they are. I may have over tightened the laces on these skates first time out because that's what I've always done. They provide incredible support and are really comfortable. My feet used to throb and it felt so good to get them off. These were quite different in that they always felt comfortable. Technology has really advanced the ability to get a snug but comfortable fit. I had my mind set on Bauer Supremes but visited the store and tried on many different pairs and the Jetspeed 300 felt the best to me. The Bauer Nexus was huge, the Vapor felt like they had rough sharp edges in the toe box and there was something off in each of the other pairs I tried. The Jetspeeds felt like slippers......very stiff slippers. I know we all have different sized and shaped feet so I encourage everyone to try on skates before you buy. I did find out my left foot is one size bigger than my right and I've always worn a size 8. I tried on a 7.5 and once I laced them up, the heel seated nicely and the toe box was comfortable. Although my clothes were soaked from sweat at the end of the 90 minute session, these skates were perfectly dry when I removed them. My Tacks, Super Tacks and Microns were always soaked at the end of a skate and heavier than when I put them on. Eventually the leather would start to rot (I think I'm dating myself). Anyway, I'm looking forward to many years of fun and fitness with this great pair of skates.

Mostly my shoe size is 9, especially in Adidas sneakers, skate size is 7.5D (I have Reebok 11K), so what size for these skates would be the best option ?

Asked by: Ihor 74
CCM sizing would be the same through all of their lines.
