The all new Jetspeed FT1 skate is an elite piece of equipment designed with every detail in mind.

One-piece Boot Frame
The ultimate in energy transfer efficiency, CCM’s one-piece boot frames are engineered with high precision to provide 360-degree, anatomically-fitting skates - around, underneath and over the foot - increasing the contact area between the foot and the entire skate. The patented technology provides players with a seamless energy transfer structure that helps to maximize skating power with every stride.

JetSpeed FT1 is the first ever one-piece boot frame skate in the JetSpeed family. Featuring L1TEFRAME 360 technology, the JetSpeed FT1 is a highly refined skate design with leading edge engineering to help maximize a player’s speed on the ice. Its ultra-lightweight structure makes it the lightest pro caliber JetSpeed skate to date. The monocoque construction gives players two critical benefits: A complete 360° fit around and underneath the foot for a customized fit, and a seamless direct energy transfer platform that helps generate more speed with every stride.

L1TEFRAME 360 TECHNOLOGY
Lightweight one-piece composite boot frame that provides players with a close and tapered fit around the entire foot. The technology also eliminates the need for an outsole helping the player generate extreme speed.

PRO LINER
Specialized premium material designed to wick away moisture quickly and efficiently, to keep feet dry and skates light.

SPEEDBLADE HYPERGLIDE
Polished steel blade that helps provide advanced performance and glide efficiency.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First skate review....very good. Excellent skate- low profile (boot and runner) make it very comfortable. Very little negative space, so the FT1s are more fitted than the roomier Bauer Vapors. I wanted to get a new pair of skates after Easton stopped making the Makos, and I was very disappointed in my recent purchase of Bauer X900s, which felt like a ski boot. Plus the long blades and high boot/runner on the X900s felt really, really awkward. I am a 7EE in the Easton Makos and a 6.5EE in X900 Vapors. I bought a 7D in the FT1s since the D was sufficiently wide. Overall, I thought the Easton Makos were by far the best skates I've ever had, but this is a similar feel but without the pressure point around the tendon guard. Plus the FT! seems much more durable and slightly stiffer, so a bit more energy transfer. Like the Makos, these skates are incredibly comfortable out of the box. No break in period at all. I can't compare these to the Bauer TotalOne line, but I was very, very impressed after my first skate. CCM nailed it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great skate Outstanding fit similar to the vapor series. Heel is a tad bit wider, so we had them baked, skated on them for a couple of weeks, then baked them again to get a perfect fit. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lighter than my shoes! Extremely comfortable, easy to break in, like skating on a cloud. Just hope they hold up

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I hoped for For me they belt very cheap and non supportive. I would imagine that they aren't super durable over the long run. I can't speak to that though, just my assumption.

Is this skate more like the crazy light or is the super tack?

Asked by: VinnyC
I would say this skate is more similar to the Crazy Light's. The Tacks are CCM's wider skate. The Crazy Light's were more moderate in width, similar to the Jetspeed's.

They will both be similar in terms of stiffness.

Wondering about the fit of the heel as compared to the Bauer Supreme line, does the FT1 being a tapered fit mean the heel will be a little looser?

Asked by: erikkarlsson
The heel of the Supreme will be more anatomical meaning the shape of the heel and ankle will be shaped and formed like a heel and ankle. The FT1 may fit more similar to the Vapor line with the Super Tacks being more similar to the Supreme, that's my opinion.

Salesman told me that you could go 2 sizes down in a one piece construction.  He said after heat molding they get a little roomier around the toe.  Can you give any advice on sizing??

Asked by: Jamie55
Commonly skates are a size and a half smaller than a US shoe size. Skates don't get too much roomier after heat molding. If you are a more experienced skater you might like the tighter fit of going 2 sizes down. It is more so about preference.

Sizing: I take a 8.5D in Bauer Vapor skates. Would that correspond to a size 8.5 in CCM Jetspeed as well or is the sizing different between manufacturers? (I wear shoe size 9.5 Nike and Euro size 43, if that helps.)

Asked by: gjf1xle
I wore the same size Vapor as Jetspeed but all feet are different. Keep in mind 1.5 sizes below your shoe size is normally the recommendation.

How does the fit of the FT1 compare to the original Jetspeed and to that of the Super Tack? Thanks, Dave

Asked by: Dgm7
The Jetspeed skates are ACTUALLY a TAPERED FIT skate. Although both have an anatomical heel lock and both have pro level stiffness. The Jetspeed FT1's volume islow-medium while a Super Tacks has a straight up Medium volume.
