PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The CCM Tacks 3052 skates are designed by CCM for the player who skates a moderate amount and needs more stiffness and performance than a beginning skater. They feature a less aggressive AttackFrame design that is constructed of nylon. This provides more structural support than a standard skate construction would. The Formula T3 foam core works alongside the AttackFrame to provide high-level support. The Tacks 3052 is definitely a skate where you are getting bang for your buck!

RATINGS & REVIEWS

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice skate for under 300$ I have been a tacks fan since my grandfather bought me my first pair of black tacks in 94' I was a little skeptical on buying the new models based on the name so i went to total hockey and tried them on. Felt great! I have a wide foot so i went with the ee's and i have to say for 229$ bucks you cant find a better new skate in my opinion... will continue to buy tacks as long as they continue making a quality product at a reasonable price... Keep it up ccm! They are light and feel like they will last... And they have the sb 4.0 holder so they have quality parts from higher-end models

Rated 4 out of 5 by from CCM 3052 skates Skates took some time to adjust to, but enjoy the light weight, feel I'm skating faster. Baked the skates, but not sure how much they have formed to my feet, if at all. have an issue with having to retighten them-an hour into my pickup games. but overall, happy with the performance... maybe would have considered going to a higher level, but not sure how much of a better fit /quality I would be getting. so what's done is done, and satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great beginner skate! I bought these about a month ago in order to take part in learn to skate classes and so far they have been awesome. I had to get each skate punched out in order to relieve pain but other than that they are really comfortable. For $150 you really can't go wrong. The skate looks really nice and high quality. They have a high quality toungue and I've had no problems with lace bite even when I tie them as tight as possible. This with the fact that they come with the speedblade 4.0 is a big plus. It's really nice to see features that are on higher end skates make it to the lower end skates that people can actually afford. I haven't played a game in them since I can barely skate but the boot seems pretty thick to block shots and not cause a lot of pain. For my first pair of ice skates I'm really impressed with them and I would reccomend them to anybody!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like the fact that you can change the blades out on these. My old skates were not able to have that happen so when they cracked I was left to buy new skates which is where these came in handy. The width of the skate is nice. The regular width in these is much better that the wide width in other CCM models. The design is nice and they provide for good durability and performance for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great skates I bought these skates a couple days ago. I'm 23 and I've been playing hockey since I was 5. I've never bought my own pair of skates. I always had hand-me-downs from my older brother. I love these skates! They are so much lighter than my last pair. Plus, the workers at the Novi location were a lot of help! Definitely would go back

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot, awesome protwction I have the 5052 model which I found a bit tough to break in but love them . I bought these 3052s for my son who plays A hockey and he has loved them from the time he put them on his feet. He never had a complaint and never skipped a beat. I'd recommend these to anyone. PRODUCT Q & A

I have been using the same 952s for about 18 years for roller hockey.  I played pro inline with them way back, and now I'm must slower and heavier, but I still need a sturdy boot.  With a new set of frames, would these work for 1-2 games per week?

Asked by: dub32
The 3052 skate will not have the boot stiffness you are probably looking for. I would recommend maybe looking at the 3052.

would these skates be considered an upgrade to supreme 160's? what are the differences?

Asked by: DC29
Both skates feature different technology and options so they are difficult to compare.

I just bought the 44k ribcor whites in 7.5 ee. After receiving them in the mail and wearing them in the house I question if they will be wide enough as I have a hotspot on one foot on the outside. How much wider are the 3052's compared to the ribcors?

Asked by: Magnum21
The rib-cor is the narrowest skate with the Jetspeed and Tacks being much more wide. The Jetspeed and Tacks are same width in EE. I would recommend looking at ccm's website.
