SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent skates! I purchased these about 2 weeks ago, after trying on at least a dozen pairs of skates in store, and found the Mako M7's to be the most comfortable of the bunch. They are lightweight, supportive, and very comfortable. The only concern I had was with the included footbeds, they didn't provide enough arch support, so I also purchased a pair of Superfeet Carbon insoles. After heat molding, these skates were more comfortable than the shoes I wore into the store. Pros: Lightweight, comfortable, and supportive. Cons: They are a bit expensive, included insoles were uncomfortable, and they tend to be a little harder to put on/take off than others (I have to remove laces from the top 2 eyelets every time). I can't comment on durability, performance, or protection, as I am still learning to skate, and haven't been in a situation to really test these aspects of this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great skates Bought these skates a month ago. So far they are a big improvement over the Graf's I formerly skated in. Much better fit to my foot and better ankle support. A noticeable improvement in performance. I bought a youth pair for my son at the same time and he loves them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall a better feel Sad that Easton is out of the hockey game. I went from my Synergy EQ20 to these and it was a night and day difference. Cups the heel much better and just feels more comfortable. Definitely can do tighter turns and the engergy transfer is incredible. Very satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heck of a skate I went into TH Kirkwood with the intention to buy Bauer inline skates. I wasn't nuts about the fit, and after trying a bunch of different inline boots, I decided to mount my chassis on an ice boot. Joe (salesman) eventually showed me the Mako boot. This boot is exactly what I was hoping for. It's very comfortable, and fits snugly around my foot. I feel stable and energy transfer is extremely efficient. I've been skating on them for a few months now, twice a week. My speed, power and agility are vastly improved because of these skates. I'm an older player, and I thought i had simply lost a step. After finally retiring my old skates and putting these on, I can honestly say that was not the case. Equipment is so key. These skates allow me to do what I want to do on the floor, which is pretty much what you would want from a good skate. The only drawback is that I have slight blistering on the back of my ankles on both legs. This is a weird place to be blistered, but a small price to pay. I hope time will take care of that. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a great skate boot.

I have 10.5 Easton S7 looking to upgrade, will these fit about the same

Asked by: MM66
You may be able to get away with a size 10 as the run fairly slim, but I would suggest trying a pair on before sharpening.

How do these fit compared to Bauers? I'm a 10D with my nexus skates, kind of looking for something newer and less "bulky"

Asked by: Hartsy
The Nexus will fit more wide than this Easton M7.

How do these fit compared to the original "more orange" Mako's?

Asked by: STLRocket
The fit will be identical throughout the Mako line

I currently have Easton 75S in a 8.0 D.  They are a tiny bit too big.  If I were to get another pair of 75S's - I'd get 7.5 D.  Can I expect same sizing in the Mako M7?

Asked by: CBatsford
Yes, the lengths in both skates will be the same.
