CCM Jetspeed Hockey Skates

The Jetspeed Skates are the newest addition to the growing catalog of pro-level ice hockey skates for CCM. The goal when designing the Jetpeed Skates was to cater to those who prefer a natural, close-to-the-foot fit that takes the shape of the foot. The Jetspeed will give the skater a completely connected feel for the ice, and it is clear that CCM is expanding their arsenal to accommodate skaters of all foot shape.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Last pair of CCM skates I will ever buy. The padding on the inside of my skates broke down within 2 months of purchase. My foot was basically resting on the hard composite out sole. Coming from a Bauer Vapor, I thought they felt like bricks on my feet. Also CCM refused to replace them when I explained the problem, within the warranty period. You'd think if I pay that much for them they would be willing to back it up. Very disappointed in these skates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing skate Just bought these yesterday and was on the ice for the first time today. Initially the skate fits like a glove right out of the box. I was surprised on how well they felt just trying them on. the toe box fit my foot way better than the Ultra tacks and 6092 skates. I did notice that I moved down in size. I always wear a size 6 (Crazylite skates) but easily moved into a 5.5 with the jet speed and got a perfect fit. Also notice that the skate tongue is not as tall as in other skates which is fine. Skates are very lite. Curious as to what the lie and radius of these skates are but will skate in them a few times before I head back to Total hockey or a CAG one machine to adjust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super light Out of the box they felt like ski boots compared to my 727 Grafs.. didn't like them much until I had them profiled and got some advice.. tie them very, very loose... what a difference after a getting used to shift or two, The super light design rigid support has made me incredibly faster way more nimble on my feet no more foot cramping legs are sore and I flat out fly around everybody after the 3 time on the ice...I am a 47 year old who can once agin blow past the kids... don't skimp on the low ends.. the difference is in the boot and comfort...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Pair of Skates I was convinced to try these on after trying the 1X and TotalOne. The 1X pinched the outside of my heel and the TotalOne's toe box pinched on the sides. These things fit like a glove, and the CCM custom footbed just made them it even better. Almost no break-in time at all. I can't speak on durability at the moment, but I've only heard negative things about the steel, not the boot itself. If you're deadset on Bauer like I used to be, just give these a try (I recommend going down half a size from your usual skates)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epic!! Bought this yesterday, and tried it on the ice the next day (which is today). after heat molded and worn (ofc waited for a day), There isn't any single bit of discomfort. fits like a glove and I must say that it's the most comfortable skates I've ever felt. I tried all other skates, even had bauer supreme (gave it away) and old easton S5 and S17Limited ed. (both broke, and had lots of pain). but this one, the jetspeeds, felt like I already have break them in but No! I have not, new and awesome!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CCM is Improving I have always liked bauer skates coming from a supreme 170 these are a major upgrade. I was a little concerned with the fit because I have a wide foot. Love these Jetspeeds

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit is fantastic, profile a little forward for me After baking these fit my wide feet well with little to no pain areas, no lace bite, and no pain spots. Profile is definitely designed for the more experienced skater, they are forward and fast, I had the blades profiled to improve contact and am doing quite well. Replaced Vapor skates that I had for about 5 years. Took about 4 practices and one game to adjust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jetspeeds were like coming home I bought my Jetspeeds about three weeks ago to replace my Graf's which hurt my feet. It felt like they were made for my feet and even though I still haven't achieved "jetspeed" still am glad I went back to CCM's!

I currently wear a size 6 in the 30k. Would a 5.5 or 6 be better in the Jetspeeds?

Asked by: wonton25
The sizes will run the same but the fit will be different. I would stay with the size 6 skate.

I have a little bit of a wide foot. I currently wear Super Tacks that are about 17 years old, but am looking to replace and upgrade. My Super Tacks are a size 9.5 and I wear a size 11.5 shoe. Would a 10 likely work for me in these?

Asked by: Jklein99
Your skate size should be a size to a size and half lower than your shoe size. The Tacks boot is made specifically for someone with a wider foot. So, yes a size 10 should work for you.

My grafs are an 8 should I be looking at the 7.5 or 8 in the lightspeed?

Asked by: Bankerman
The rule of thumb is you want to go down a size and a half from you shoe size

What's the difference  between the Jetspeed on clearance  and the new model?

Asked by: George
Tongue - lace bite protection - FT1 is thicker and more protective but still flexible - an improvement over the original Jetspeed. Tendon guards - FT1s are a big more beefed up Liner - added new materials - built for longer lasting life. Skaters skating 2+ times a week will benefit from the new materials. Weight has been shaved off and they the FT1 is light. Similar fit - the heel lock in FT1 is more defined - more padded and comfortable than original Jetspeed. No change in the runner (hyper glide) Big difference is the boot - FT1 - no out sole on skates - one piece boot frames - new technology - increased stiffness, the one piece boot-frame allows for 360 degree contact with your foot. No wasted space in the boot. Incredible responsive boot - all movement of the foot inside the boot is directed to the runners, you will really feel the ice. They removed glues, clips, pins (extra weight) on the skate with the one piece boot-frame. No stitching on the boot. Logo is fused to the skate - nothing has been added on. This is the best and lightest performing boot made by CCM to date. The originial Jetspeed (on sale now) are still fantastic skates.

If I wear a 6 in the RBZ, will I also wear a 6 in the Jetspeed?

Asked by: Thler
CCM sizing has changed with their newer models and they typically run 0.5 size smaller. You would most likely wear a 6.5 in the JetSpeed.

Hi, I'm interested in buying a pair of CCM Jetspeed 280 Skates. The length of my feet is precisely 27.7 cm, from the hill up to big toe, and I would like to understand wich is the right size for these skates.

Asked by: lc_own
We recommend going down a size and a half down from your US shoe size.

Just bought the new Jetspeed skates and wondering what the lie and radius is for these skates coming out of the box. Thanks!

Asked by: Bill_R
The SB 4.0 Holder/ HyperGlide steel will have a 9' radius, and will be pitched forward more than what the former CCM E-Pro holder was.
