CCM Ribcor Trigger 49k Stick

Complete with PopMatrix Technology and the trusted Ascent Blade, the Ribcor 49K stick delivers great feel and a quick release.

CONSTRUCTION

PopMatrix Technology performance fibers are constantly in tension for a quick and efficient shot load and power transfer while being protected by the outer layers.

BLADE

The Ascent Blade features a new optimized stiffness profile that goes from softer in the heel to extra stiff at the toe for great feel and a quick release.

HIGH LOADING RATIO

Thanks to a Power Taper Ratio of 3:1, players will get a more vertical stiffness, which means that less energy is wasted down into the ice and more energy is transferred all the way through the blade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really liking this one Bought this puppy and took it for a spin at only one practice so far. Man this thing is great. Not only does it look sweet, it's really light weight and well balanced. Took a snapper which hit a guy's shin and I swear I saw him wince even with the shin guards on. I'm still a big fan of my MX3 but always liked CCM sticks too, so my search for the latest and greatest CCM stick began. I'm practically married to Bauer's PM9 curve so I wanted a CCM curve that matched it. I found that the Datsyuk matched the closest in CCM. Pretty sure I'm right cause I had no problem getting what I wanted out of the Datsyuk curve out on the ice. Really glad I got this sling-shot and can't wait to use it some more!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like the old 40ks I had two 40Ks and loved em, with heavy use they lasted about 9 months. This feels about the same but considering the Reckoner and the new top model, $170 seems a little pricey.
