The Rekker EK365 is the Elite level stick offered by Sher-Wood. This stick includes all of Sher-Wood’s most advanced technologies to bring you the lightest stick on the market. Sher-Wood has made this stick lighter, more responsive, and more reliable than ever before with the addition of new and improved materials along with their unique manufacturing process. The key features of this stick include the incorporation of Blackline Carbon Fiber which is an 18k weave using thinner fibers than what is found in traditional carbon fiber. Using thinner fiber to create their carbon weave, Sher-Wood is able to produce a stick that is lighter, quicker, and more durable. Thinner fibers allow the carbon weave to be lighter, woven tighter for a faster recoil, and layered more for added durability. The next key feature of this stick is the Dropkick Taper which is the result of rigorous testing from Sher-Wood. This taper is more aggressive than anything Sher-Wood has produced before and as a result there is more efficiency in loading and a quicker release. Sher-Wood lowered the taper by 10” giving this stick a true low kick-point and in turn you’ll be able to let the stick do the work for you. To help bolster the durability of this stick, while maintaining its light weight, Sher-Wood has used Flylyte Technology on the shaft. This manufacturing technique incorporates three layers of internal 18k carbon weave along with one external layer of 18k carbon weave. These additional internal layers of 18k carbon weave provide more durability and responsiveness to the stick while still remaining light. One of the most interesting features of this stick is the use of a nano-material called Graphene, which is 200 times stronger than steel. This material is super light-weight and flexible which has allowed Sher-Wood to infuse the material in the key breakage areas of the stick to improve durability. When it comes to the blade, Sher-Wood has used their VRF.2 Blade which will help the stick keep is new stick feel longer. The blade is covered with layers of Blackline Carbon fiber to improve the overall balance and durability. Inside the blade, Sher-Wood has inserted a rigid carbon fiber bridge to make the blade stiffer and minimize the effects of constant contact with the puck. To finish off the stick, Sher-Wood has incorporated Spear Shaft Technology which has the shaft run through the heel of the blade to provide a better puck feel and a more consistent flex profile.
