PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TRUE Hockey XCore 9 Ice Hockey Stick

TRUE Hockey entered the hockey stick market last year with a big splash by introducing a line of composite hockey sticks that not only pushed the boundaries of how light you could make a top-quality stick, but also offering lower priced sticks that could compete with the current top-of-the-line models. This year they are going outside-the-box to bring you what they regard as the most elite stick to ever come to retail! The XCore 9 hockey stick will feature some serious game-changing technology that will change the way stick manufacturers build their products in the future!

TRUE XCore 9 Stick Performance Features

For 2015, TRUE Hockey has taken the product that helped them break into the hockey market and they have beefed it up to include some never-before-seen technology that ultimately makes the XCore 9 the most advanced stick to-date. TRUE Hockey differentiates themselves from the competition by using a high-pressure compression molding process. The shaft is cured at a pressure of 200 psi, which is up to 60% higher than processes utilized by other vendors, and only TRUE can utilize this patented process. Maybe the most revolutionary feature of the XCore 9 is the XCore Blade Insert. This purpose of this blade insert is to provides the shooter with the stick industrys first actual wood-like feel. This leads to better puck feel and control when stick handling and passing. The blade insert is only part of a brand new, XCore blade technology from TRUE, however. This new blade design is engineered to produce 30% more spin on the puck during a shot, leading to heavier, flatter shots that will be easier to control. All of this leads to you releasing a cleaner, more accurate shot. To finish it off, the shaft is squared with rounded corners and a matte grip finish to give you the most comfortable grip on the stick possible. If you're looking to get a head of the game and the competition, order your TRUE XCore 9 stick today!

RATINGS & REVIEWS

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good stick This stick is a good stick. It is well balanced and has good puck feel. The puck comes off of the blade well. I use a toe curve. The XCORE insert is positioned towards the heel. I sometimes get a false sense of where the puck is on the blade when shooting, passing and stick handling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it The stick is light and very well balanced. Has a plain but still attractive look. I'm a gearhead so I really dig the carbon fiber look. Now on to the details. I took the ice, did my warm up skating and streching. I skated over to a puck and this is where the fun began. I skated towards the net, locked my eyes on the left post, loaded up and fired. The sound that came off the post was music to my ears. The shot felt effortless. It was one of the harder shots that I have taken and the puck just jumped of the blade. Needless to say I was very impressed. Now, this could have been me but I was shooting high. Next time out I'm going to focus on shooting lower. I absolutely love how you can really feel exactly where the puck is on the blade. Had good control of the puck all night. The rubber insert does help with catching passes. The puck just sticks to the blade. I did notice that the stick is very loud. Everytime you catch a pass, deflect a pass or take a snap shot there is a wonder "crack" that just cuts the air. Overall I'm very impressed with True. Granted it was my first time out with it, I REALLY like it.
