For 2016, Bauer has re-released the 1X Composite Stick with so many of the features that people came to love. With some changes to increase performance, Bauer allows players to continue to use a stick that offers elite production.
The main difference between the 2016 1X models and the older models is the improved QRT technology. Changes to the Quick Release Taper (QRT) technology in the senior and intermediate models now allows for a more efficient transfer of energy when loading and unloading shots.
In keeping with the earlier models, a lightweight silver TeXtreme construction allows for maximum torquage on shots without risking the integrity of the stick. The eLASTech Resin System in the senior and intermediate models enhances the durability for more physical games. Its Micro-Feel II shaft profile features double concave walls for a comfortable feel and maximum control, two integral qualities for a quick-release shot.
There’s also the Monocomp technology to consider. Bauer’s industry-leading single molding process ensures product and performance consistency. By removing excess material like overlapping layers, resin and foam waste, the balance of the stick is improved and overall weight is reduced. This results in easier stick loading and improved energy transfer with every shot.
