Rated 1 out of 5 by from Serious flaws Bought this helmet in December 2015. Today is August 2016. The weight of the helmet is fine, but the thickness of the mask grid impedes vision. In addition, Since February I have regularly tightened all the screws on the helmet (e.g. mask mount, mask straps, shell connection); the screws become loose quickly. Finally, the glue that attaches the gel pads to the Styrofoam pads in the helmet is poor. The gel pads slide all over and need to be slid back into place after each use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ok for awhile but...... I bought this helmet for my 5 yr. old two years ago when he was beginning to learn to skate because other helmets were too narrow for his head and the 4 way adjustment wheel was just what he needed. Two years later, the nice cushioned pads inside have started shifting all over inside and leaving glue in his hair after every practice. No effort to slide back or eliminate glue has worked so bought PX3 the other day to replace, but does not have cushioned layer against head like this one did. Disappointing only got two years out of and my kid actually didn't outgrow it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty much the krown px3 What to say about this helmet. It's a great helmet and is just as good as the px3. Though it may run a little bit large, the adjustable dial is one of the reason I bought it. It works well and feels on the head, though the forehead area seems to rise throughout the course of a game.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Helmet fits great but the cage was way too small I like the way the helmet fits but the cage was way too small. I had to take the cage off my old bauer helmet and install it on this one. The chin pad was hitting before hitting the stops on the helmet. Id be careful buying the combo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value This was the only helmet that is ranked as good in the Virginia Tech concussion study. The helmet runs a little big but it is adjustable.

Are the clips that hold the cage to the helmet (the ones in front) metal or plastic? (had a reebok cage with metal clips and they rusted within a month...)
Asked by: bozak
