How is the size determined for goalie skates?

The &quot;Large&quot; size will fit any adult goalie skate (size 6 and larger, up to a size 12). If you have a youth goal skate, then I would opt for the medium size, and the medium size should work for skate sizes 1-5.5.

Where to wear - concrete, outside?

Can these be worn with the skates on (outside, around the rink, on concrete, etc.)?

It is not recommended to wear the Tuff Terry skate guards outside. There are designed for protecting the steel as well as the edge on your skates. If you are looking for a skate guard that can be used while actually having the skates on, then you may want to try the Pro Guard 7070 skate guards.
