Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super comfy! I now understand why so many pros use this helmet. I've had this helmet for a few weeks and I love it. Padding hugs your head and doesn't pinch or hurt in any way. Adjustment is super simple for getting the perfect fit. The chin guard on the cage is really soft. One thing I really like about this helmet is that it doesn't seem to absorb sweat, so after a game you just wipe it with a towel and it's all dry, unlike the rest of my gear that has to sit outside for a day. This is one product that you don't have to spend a lot in order to get professional grade quality. Highly recommend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Old school Bought for my son but the feel of the inside and fit was not good. Maybe OK for an adult skater but would not recommend for an 11 year old.

What’s the difference between the “Combo II” and the plain old “Combo”? Thanks!

Asked by: manilavanilla
The difference is in the cage, both are different. Its all preference but take a look at the cage and see what may work best for you. Thanks!

Hi , My 6yr old son's head is 56.6 cm in circumference. Do you recommend I get the Bauer 4500 Helmet Combo II and the  size is adult MD?  Thanks a lot.

Asked by: Haruki
It sounds like he would be right on the border of a SM and a MD. The 4500 does fit a little larger in my experience, so I would almost lean towards the SM. However, when the measurement is that close, it's tough to say for sure without trying them on.
