Bauer Nexus 1N Grip Hockey Stick (2017)

Top shelf, bottom corner, even championships—hit what you’re aiming for every time with the new 2017 Bauer NEXUS 1N stick. With the new control shaft geometry and improved sweet spot technology, load your shot with ease and put the puck in the back of the net.

With the new control shaft geometry and easy load taper, we’ve improved our Sweet Spot Technology. Now players will more easily load their shot, giving them the accuracy they need to lead their teams in scoring throughout the season.

Improve your grip and contact with the stick through the new control shaft geometry, now with 14% rounder corners than the previous NEXUS 1N.

With the new moderate taper as the shaft nears the blade, players will get an easier loading shot that results in more consistency and more goals.

During play, slashes and pucks can cause tiny fractures in your stick. However, eLASTech Technology from BAUER stops the spread of these fractures, ensuring the NEXUS 1N is always ready to perform when you are.

A well-balanced stick can make the difference between scoring and missing. Monocomp Technology ensures consistent energy transfer to give you a consistent shot every time.

Threading the impossible pass and firing home unbelievably accurate goals are a result of TeXtreme carbon fiber—20% lighter than conventional carbon fiber without sacrificing durability.

POWER SENSE 2 Technology integrates an absorbent core into the blade of the stick to keep it lighter and better balanced, giving you more feel for the puck and your opposition less time to react.

2017 Bauer Blade Pattern Chart

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome stick The stick is the nicest stick I have shot with since I started to play. I love the accuracy of this stick, how light it is and durability. I tried the CCM RBZ Revolution and it was to heavy and delaminated in weeks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Bauer Yet I have the Bauer Vapor 1X and I prefer this stick over it. As for as wrist/snap shots I notice being more accurate than with my Vapor. This stick has great pop when flexed. For those who are writing bad reviews of this stick breaking. This stick is not meant for slaps shots. The Bauer Supreme is the best suited stick for that type of game. Bauer has 3 different classes of sticks for each type of player. Please do your research before you make a $300.00 purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good stick It's a really good stick you can take really nice shots with it its just breaking for people because they take too many slap shots with it i have 3 of these sticks i broke one because i took too many slap shots if you want to take slap shots buy a Bauer Supreme

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great stick while it lasts. I loved the stick before it broke after 6 games of beer league hockey. As mentioned, the stick has great pop when flexed and greatly improved my wrist shots. However, the stick broke 4-5 inches above the blade (as others have mentioned) after a battle for the puck after a face-off. I would have written it off as just one of those things except that others have mentioned the stick breaking in exactly the same place as mine did. As a result, I would not recommend this stick unless dropping $200+ for a stick is no big deal for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I purchased this stick the week it released approx the first week of Jan 2017 I believe. I play 2 to 3 times a week and it's been a workhorse for me. I just replaced it this week august 12th 2017 only because it was losing its pop. I of course bought the same stick. Can't beat it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Breaks easy I bought 2 of these sticks and broke both of them on my first skate I used them. I'm 195 6 2 using a 4" extension bought off of Bauer customized and it's 102 flex so I'm pretty sure I am using the right specs on it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Breaks Easy! My 15 year old son had this stick for 6 weeks when it snapped about 4 inches above the blade.

Which blade pattern is best for shooting and puck handling? And howcome the p14 toews isnt available on some sticks?

Asked by: 1Jones4x
It is all about personal preference, but I would look at the P88. The availability of certain curves just depends what we currently have in stock.

Is the Nexus 1N the new Easton CX replacement?  Or is Easton making anything new since the merger?

Asked by: BH16
The 1N is not a progression of the CX stick, and has an entirely different construction. The 1N is a progression of the previous Bauer Nexus lines. At this time, there are not any new Easton products in production.
