The Bauer Supreme 2S Pro shin guards are built with high-level technologies to provide players with an excellent combination of protection, mobility, and comfort.

  • Anatomical build for an enhanced fit
  • AMP technology for increased mobility
  • Curv composite material for added protection
  • Ventaprene straps for a locked-in feel
  • Thermo Core liner for moisture-wicking comfort

Bauer uses an anatomical build for the 2019 Supreme shin guards, providing a close-to-the-body fit that feels natural and promotes power with every movement. For the top-of-the-line 2S Pro model, Bauer enhances this fit with a deep anatomical shin cap for a locked-in feel, and many new and trusted features that will help keep you mobile and protected.

A top-level feature included in the 2S shin guards is Active Motion Protection. The anatomically molded shin cap includes AMP segmentation, providing excellent mobility. With this added range of motion, players can skate and maneuver without feeling too restricted by these shin guards. AMP also offers an added layer of protection in this key area.

Bauer includes their trusted Curv composite technology for increased protection. This technology is featured in the calf guard, using an anatomically molded construction with Curv to offer excellent impact protection against blocked shots and slashes.

The 2S Pro shin guards also include a top-end strapping system. Bauer uses their Ventaprene lock straps to secure the shin guard to your leg, maximizing its protective and performance benefits. These straps  also help keep you comfortable throughout games and practices.

Inside the shin guard, Bauer includes a floating comfort liner with Poron XRD and Skate Zone technology for excellent comfort and protection. This is combined with the top-end Thermo Core liner which offers another layer of comfort while keeping your pads light during games thanks to its moisture wicking properties. And between skating sessions, this liner helps to dry out the shin guards faster and to stop the growth of bacteria.

With plenty of new and trusted technologies, the Bauer Supreme 2S Pro shin guards are an excellent choice for the elite player who skates 4-5+ times per week and needs top-of-the-line gear, or any player at any level who wants to experience high-end protective equipment.

Measure from the middle of your ankle to the middle of your knee cap. This measurement in inches should serve as a good reference point for your hockey elbow pad size. Keep in mind that this measurement does not account for personal preference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shin pads I got these a couple weeks ago after my previous shin pads failed me when I blocked a shot on defense, and ever since I've had these it has been great no more failing shin pads! I think these are worth every single penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable After trying on a variety of shin guards from the available manufacturers and price points, decided to go with the 2S Pro. The decision was made based on fit, comfort, design and level of protection. For my son the 2S Pro checked all of his requirements.

Question is the 2s pro vs the 2s shinguard: This looks bulkier than the 2s Shinguard. The 2s shin guard looks like it is more tapered towards the bottom. Is this true or does it just look that way from the pictures? Would this work for a forward also?

Asked by: IndianaHockeyGuy
Both are from the Supreme line and have an anatomical fit style. I think the 2S Pro does look a little bulkier and that could be just from the picture. The white from the shin guard shell blends with the white background and make it look more bulky than it actually is. Thanks!
