The Bauer Supreme S29 hockey pants offer the weekly player good protection and comfort at a great value.
- Classic fit for good overall coverage
- 400 Nylon shell for a lightweight feel
- Independent spine for increased protection
- Thermo Max liner for interior comfort
- +1-inch extension for improved adjustability
While much of the 2019 Supreme protective line is anatomically designed for a close-to-the-body fit, Bauer chooses to use their classic fit with the Supreme S29 pant. This provides players with a more classic fit, offering more volume and ultimate coverage while retaining the Supreme look. And for the construction, the S29 includes a 400 Nylon shell for a lightweight feel.
The Supreme 2S pant includes many protective features for the casual player who still needs good impact resistance. At the back of the pants, an independent spine offers increased protection in this key area, while the HD foam insert included in this construction offers good energy dispersion from common hockey impacts. Other protective features included are molded kidney protection with Poly insert; a one-piece full volume hip guard; and a one-piece thigh guard with stretchable leg gusset and zipper opening. With these protective technologies and the full volume fit, the S29 pant provides solid coverage.
For the interior of the pants, Bauer includes their Thermo Max liner. This technology helps to pull away sweat and moisture from the pants to keep you comfortable during games and to help the pants dry out in between skates so they are the next time you hit the ice.
The S29 also includes some high-end adjustability features like the zippered extension. This design allows you to add 1-inch to your pants if you need some extra length for the right fit or for personal preference. And the Supreme S29 also includes an MD foam cover with cinch belt, also found in the 2S model, for a secure and personalized fit.
Like the 2S model, the S29 pant has a unique fit for the Supreme line, and offers plenty of protective and comfort features for the player who skates once or twice a week and is looking for a quality option at a great price.
