The Junior 30-Flex Bauer Vapor Prodigy hockey stick is designed for young, performance-level players who want quality features and need the right technologies to develop their skills.

  • QRT technology for a quick release
  • UD Carbon Fiber technology for a durable construction
  • MaxBalance blade for increased consistency
  • AERO FOAM I blade for solid shot pop
  • Length- 50"

Bauer’s 2019 Prodigy sticks are constructed specifically for young players based on flex and performance needs. The Junior 30-Flex model offers competitive skaters the right flex to help improve their shots because they will have the strength to flex the shaft for more power and accuracy. With the right flex, developing players can experience the performance benefits of Bauer’s technologies.

A high-end feature included in the Vapor Prodigy is QRT Technology. This taper design, used in the 2019 X2.7 model and in some top Vapor sticks from the previous generation, improves recoil speed by keeping energy in the lower part of the shaft, helping to get the puck off the blade as fast as possible. While Bauer has redesigned their taper construction for the top-end senior Vapor models this year, QRT still proves to be a dynamic technology, especially for this level of play, that will help skaters get their shots off quick.

For the construction, Bauer includes UD Carbon Fiber in both the shaft and blade. This unidirectional carbon fiber, also used in the shaft of the new 2S Team stick, offers a solid balance of durability and playability, giving players a good feel for the puck.

Also included in the blade is MaxBalance technology - a high-end feature used in top Bauer sticks like the Vapor 2X Pro. MaxBalance strategically layers added carbon fiber in the blade for more strength without weighing down the stick, while also reinforcing the edges for increased durability. And true to its name, this technology creates a balanced blade for more consistency when shooting and passing. Inside the blade is Bauer’s AERO FOAM I core, offering solid shot pop and a good puck feel.

With the right flex, a low-kick point construction, and good features for this level and price point, the Junior 30-Flex Vapor Prodigy stick proves to be a great value for young, competitive players working on their skills.

2020 Bauer Curve Chart

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always a great selection at Pure Hockey! Purchased new stick for 8 year son and it’s perfect!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Accurate passing but heavy Good stick. My son who’s 7 switched to this from ccm tack p29. He was shooting over the net with the p29 curve, he now uses p01. I’ve notices he’s been very accurate with passing since the switch. One complaint it’s very heavy. Hopefully the p01 blade will be available on a lighter stick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and light, great curve Nice light weight stick, great curve for helping U10 handle and lift the puck. Flex is kind of pointless at this age; no slapshots allowed. Still too stiff for their weight and strength to be able to lean into and flex it anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good stick I was skeptical at first about the curve to help lift pucks. But sure enough it has helped tremendously!
