SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So comfortable feels like sneakers Just picked these up during the holidays. Very comfortable skates. I have a narrow heel and a wide foot and wear a size 10.5 in sneakers. Getting the 290 Jetspeed in a normal width was a perfect fit around my entire foot. It has just enough snugness around and ankle and wiggle room around the toes. Had them baked in the store, and 6 hours later hopped on the ice for a game. No issues whatsoever. No pain, no pinching and NO "cold" toes or feet. I tried the JS280 skates which are $100 cheaper but no way. These 290's are made MUCH better. The 280's are made of a cheap material that crackle when you walk in them. The 280's are cheap plastic where these, the 290's are totally better in durability and rigidness. Well worth the extra money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for Just finished my first stick-n-puck in these bad boys. Felt very different from the mid-end Bauer Nexus skates I was wearing previously. Things I noticed immediately - the stock steel on these is WAY better than Bauer's stock steel. It's lighter and has much better glide. The boot is stiffer, which I guess should be expected at this price point. Also, my acceleration and turn radius immediately improves wearing these. Took 30-40 minutes of skating to regain total comfort in transitions and backwards skating/crossovers and such. Nothing really bad to say about these. They are a bit tighter around the inner arch area of the foot than I'm used to and maybe slightly wider in the heel and ankle, which I normally wouldn't like but the stiffness of the upper boot makes up for that and gives you a very sturdy feel. GREAT SKATES, 5/5!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing skates!!! I love these skates i have an odd foot and ankle shape.(boney ankles and flat feet) These are very comfortable and formfitting. great support a little more stiff feel than normal. The padding around the ankles is great and locks your foot in place. On the ice, they are very fast and feel very light. never once had an issue with rubbing or odd preasure points. Great buy, i love these skate

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit! Picked these up today. Right outta the box great feel, locked in no rubbing. Great stiffness, tried on tacks all price points, Bauer supremes all price points. These by far the best for someone wanting a bit wider mid foot and toe box.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Skate Runner broke 10 days after warrant expired What more is there to say. This is an unacceptable situation but there's nothing I can do about it but report the problem to other buyers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As good as it gets Just as good as the top end jetspeeds. I own them both. Right when you jump into the 290's and up they are all really the same. The only reason I purchased the high end jetspeeds is because they made them in all black ( which looks sick) They feel the same, the shell is just as hard, they bake the same, skate the same etc. I wanted the highest end skate possible ( I'm materialistic) I wanted the vapor 1x or the super tacks so bad I tried convincing myself they were a good fit for me, they just weren't. I tried both on in D and EE and both were way to tight. I have a really wide foot and my foot measurements call for a EE but the jetspeeds fit perfect in D. I tried the jetspeeds on in EE but the D was the best. CCM markets the each level different. Giving better and more detailed descriptions as the level goes up. I promise my jetspeeds are just as wet as my 290s, stoping a puck feels the same, and I skate just ask fast on my polished blade as my blacked out blade. If you can afford a highend skate and it makes you feel like a more confident player then buy them. But if you think your going to get more performance out of a higher end jetspeed then the 290 you will be disappointed.

What is the difference between d and EE?

Asked by: Becca
The difference is the width. D is standard width, while EE is wide.

My husband is new to hockey (he is a figure skater). What is the D and EE widths mean? Is D like regular and EE extra wide? Also his foot is just short of 10" (but he wears size 9-9.5 depending on the brand street shoe) - what size should he order?

Asked by: drkaren
D is going to be a normal or regular width. E or EE is going to be a wide width. We recommend going a size and a half down from your shoe size.
