90 Day Satisfaction Guarantee on the CCM Jetspeed Ice Hockey Skates when purchased from July 1st, 2018 through December 31st, 2018.

The CCM Jetspeed FT340 ice hockey skate offers a nice degree of overall comfort and performance—it’s a great option for the entry-level or new-to-hockey player looking for a boot that’s going to help them develop their stride. This affordably-priced skate will appeal to a broad range of young players, including recreational skaters.

  • Injected, synthetic mesh quarter package with Mesh Form skin for increased support and durability
  • SpeedBlade Pro holder for stiff, stable performance
  • Standard CCM footbed for comfort and support
  • Injected plastic outsole for stiff, workable support
  • Pro-styled two-piece tongue for impact and lace-bite protection

The steel holder on this year’s FT340 has been upgraded with the CCM SpeedBlade Pro holder, which is stiffer through the mid-section than last year’s model. The SpeedBlade Pro offers better stability and support for beginner players, and includes CCM’s unique triangular SpeedRib design for even more geometric stability. The stainless steel runners on the FT340 are not replaceable.

The holder joins to the injected plastic outsole that, combined with the injected boot, gives entry-level or new-to-hockey athletes a respectable amount of support without being too stiff. Young players will be able to work on developing their stride, thanks to the right amount of flex offered in the FT340. The skate is also perfect for general recreational use.

The FT340 quarter package comes in an injected, synthetic mesh material with CCM’s Mesh Form skin. This unique boot construction results in a lightweight feel with plenty of support and durability that a new skater will learn to appreciate. The FT340 includes a thick, pro-styled tongue with a two-piece construction for a comfortable, anatomical fit over the foot. It does a great job protecting the foot from impacts and lace bite. The brushed microfiber liner inside the boot is soft to the touch, and wicks away moisture and sweat from the player’s foot for a dry, comfortable fit. The FT340 comes with CCM’s standard footbed, providing exceptional comfort and support.

The Jetspeed line is a medium-volume skate, but a little tighter in the toe area. Young or new players with a slightly narrow forefoot will like the snug feel of the FT340, particularly with its tight heel lock.

The Jetspeed FT340 will appeal to young or new hockey enthusiasts and recreational skaters. Its extremely affordable price, combined with some nicely upgraded features, make the FT340 an exceptional value for the individual who likes to get out on the ice periodically, but who doesn’t need a lot of high-end performance out of their skates.

SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Back on the ice I got these skates for getting used to being on ice again after 21 years off, and keeping up with my 7 year old while she learns to play hockey. They have been great. Wanted something well made but inexpensive while I got back into everything, and these skates have been wonderful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect skates to get back into skating again I haven’t need a pair of skates for awhile. My son started playing hockey and I wanted to be able to take him skating without using rentals. It has been over 20 years since I played hockey and skated more than maybe once or twice a year. The skates made it easier. They are solid, comfortable, supporting, and easily mold to your foot. I couldn’t have asked for a better skate to get back into skating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great skates for the price My son is a beginner hockey player and he is happy with the skates. They are very comfortable, fast and light weighted. Never had any complaints- Played the whole season (4 days/week) and they still are in great condition. His shoe size is 3 and size 2 skates are still ok to him. For that price you probably won't find skates that are that good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Rec skate I bought these skates about a month ago so I could have a reliable pair of skates to get on the ice with to teach my kid. Same skates as his so its especially cool for him to have skates just like Dad!

I’m a size 8.5 for my regular shoes. What size would I be for my Ice Hockey skates?

Asked by: Kuch86
everyone is different because of your foot structure but the general rule of thumb is you size down 1.5 sizes from your sneaker size . You may be a size 7 or 7.5 Senior size skate boot ...

You would be the same size, the CCM skates will be length wise the same. The Supreme from Bauer may run a little wider but that's about it. Thanks!

Does anyone make a skate bigger than a 12? My son wears a mens 14 15 shoe.

Asked by: Firedog99
Sadly not a ton of options in sizes above 12. We have an option to sort by size when finding skates, we have had skates in 13 before.
