The Jetspeed FT390 Hockey Pants from CCM are a form fitting hockey pant that share some of the features as the FT1 pants while cutting back on some of the protection and materials, as well as the cost. At this mid-price point the Jetspeed FT390 hockey pants carry a lot of value for an elite level player.

The Jetspeed FT390 hockey pants share the same high-end exterior material as the FT1 pants, a 400D/400D textured/textured polyester and side panels reinforcement to both reduce weight and optimize durability. Protection on the Jetspeed FT390 hockey pants is at a high level, using quality materials such as molded PE plastic and caps on the hip, kidney, and thigh guards, as well as floating spine protection.

The CCM Jetspeed FT390 hockey pants are also designed to keep you cool and dry on the ice. The Comfortable liner on the Jetspeed FT390 pants absorbs less sweat to keep the player dry and keeps the product lightweight using Dryfoam Technology. The Jetspeed FT390 hockey pants features a leg zipper on the thigh guard allowing the player to open up the airflow on the pants, as well as vented zones in the hip and kidney caps to keep the player cool.

Adjustment on the Jetspeed FT390 hockey pants from CCM is extensive and easy to use. The belt seen on the front of the pants feeds through the inside of the pant to an internal belt system allowing for more effective fit. The internal belt is mixed with a traditional hockey lacing on the front for both look and feel. Finally, the length of the Jetspeed FT390 can be adjusted with the hidden +1” adjustment zipper.

CCM Hockey Pants Sizing Chart

You may use a traditional dress pant or jean measurement if available. However, if unavailable, you can measure around the waist, just above the hips to get the proper measurement. This measurement in inches should serve as a good reference point for your hockey pants. Keep in mind that this measurement does not account for personal preference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good padding and great ventilation. I have had these breezers for about one month now and have worn them many times. I am 6'0" and 195lbs. I purchased a large. The adjustment that allows for an extra inch was helpful to ensure that the thigh pads reach my shin pads. The inner belt keeps them in place without suspenders. The padding is more than adequate. Most importantly, I have good flexibility due to the fabric used between the legs, and these pants BREATHE! Highly recommend. I have not tried the FT1 pants, but these are quite nice and a bit cheaper, of course.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for thin kids If your son or daughter is one of the seventy-five percent of players out there who have pants that are too short if they fit in the waist, these are for you. The internal belt holds them up well and the length is longer than any other brand we have found. In order to get the Bauer pants to come down to cover the top of the knee cap, we had to extend them and purchase a size that was way too roomy and too large for his waist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy Bought these to replace another pair of competing brand pants which were really too big in the waist. The CCMs fit well, and seem to be holding up as expected. They're a bit closer fitting than other brands which is preferable to me...nearly as good as the FT1s but at a more reasonable price point. CCM are making some truly great gear!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good quality! I bought these because I felt my current pants did not have adequate protection. Got them on sale for almost $60 off retail but even at $140 they still would be worth it! Great quality pants, very thick padding! I've taken several spills right on my butt in these pants and didn't feel a thing. And I have no butt! So for a fall straight back not to hurt at all is a big deal to me. Would 100/10 recommend, especially at the sale price. If your on the fence about this pant or a similar tier pant, GET THESE! They are of superior quality to any other pants I've tried.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pant for the tall+skinny I was on the search for a pant that fits my tall and skinny body well, and these pants do the job perfectly. They generally have a good shape for tall+skinny and the 1" extension gives you even more length. Good protection and comfort as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from loads of padding and slim fit I've struggled to fit my tall skinny son. I purchased junior small for a 4'5" at 55 lbs. With the length extension opened (1" via zipper around waist) the pants just cover the tops of the knees. The waist is still a bit big, but they are better than the bulky Tack pants. The padding is significant.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ZERO HIP PROTECTION need more protection in between the tailbone protector and where the hip pads end. Not necessarily the fleshy butt cheek part, but right on the backside of my hip bone, just where the hip pads seem to end. The hip pads cover the side and front of the hip, but not really the back. This is exacerbated when falling as the impact just pushes the hip pad up and out of the way. I keep falling there have a huge bruise

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great High End Pants Recently picked these up to replace my worn out Bauer Vapor APX 2's. The first thing I noticed was how much better the protection is in these overall. Haven't worn CCM for a few years now but the difference was obvious as soon as I pulled them on. The hip, kidney, tailbone and thigh areas are second to none in protection and coverage. The medium density padding is comfortable and absorbs perspiration to keep you cool during the game. Love the integrated interior belt and traditional lacing at the front of the pants and the nicely padded belly guard. The segmented thigh guard wraps beautifully around your leg for more complete protection around the side and back of the thigh and upper leg. This pant is lighter than my previous set yet offers better coverage and gives me great range of motion. I loved my APX's but these where less expensive and give me features just as good if not better as my previous pants.I highly recommend these for any level of hockey.

I am only 5’7” but have a 42 - 44” waist.. I’m looking at the XXL but worried they’ll be too long

Asked by: John Mac
I think they may be a little long as well but that's hard to be 100% sure. It's not always just about the height. Our limb lengths are different from person to person. You may have longer legs compared to the model they used to base the sizing off. You may also find that you can wear them a little higher to make the length right. Either way, you are able to return them if they don't fit after you've tried them on! Thanks

I'm 5'8" weigh 195 lbs with a 35 inch waist. My inseam is a 30". What size would I need, Medium or Large?

Asked by: ATLSPARTAN22
I'd suggest going with the medium over the large. I believe the large would be too long and the medium should be perfect. Thanks!

im 5'10 and 200 lbs... reading the chart im kinda in the middle between M and L. Thoughts?

Asked by: Zach D
Leg length plays a big role here and it's hard to really tell what would be your best size unless you could try both on. Total height gets us in the ball park but limb length is what it really comes down to. I would suggest considering the waist size measurement as well. Medium will fit a waist size of 32" to 36" and the large will fit a waist size of 34" to 38". If you could visit one of our Pure Hockey stores that would be ideal! We could fit you up and make sure you have the perfect pair of pants. Thanks!

I'm a big guy. 6'4 and float around that 42'' waist line. I assume the XXL would be recommended?

Asked by: Goose
The XXL would be what you need. Typically this will fit a player with a 42"+ waist and they are 6'2"+ in height. Thanks!
