Those CCM fans in the market for a new top-end hockey stick this off season should give their full attention to the new Jetspeed Stick. CCM may be in the process of reinventing itself with the new Jetspeed line of ice hockey sticks. The top-end Jetspeed Stick model is jam-packed with technological advancements and feature upgrades that will put a big smile on the pro-level player’s face.

  • Double concave top and bottom shaft geometry for a comfortable, natural hand feel, reduced stick torque, and improved shot accuracy
  • Sigmatex 18K carbon fiber for reduced weight and increased durability
  • Innovative hybrid kick-point for increase shot versatility
  • Jetstream blade design with dampening layer technology for improved consistency and responsiveness
  • Multi-channel hollow blade construction for superior puck feel

The new Jetspeed Stick ice hockey stick benefits from CCM’s new shaft geometry. The stick still sports its familiar rounded corners and double concave sidewalls, but it now includes a double convex top and bottom. This new shaft geometry better matches the natural curvature of the hands, providing better puck control and helping to prevent the shaft from torquing (twisting) during heavy shots, thus increasing the stick’s accuracy.

The shaft construction benefits from a big upgrade over the Pro model with the Sigmatex 18K carbon fiber. The industry-leading Sigmatex 18K has a flatter and thinner weave than a 12K carbon, significantly reducing weight, improving durability, and extending the Stick’s pop-life.

A new feature on Jetspeed sticks this year is CCM’s “hybrid” kick-point. The new hybrid design amounts to a soft-stiff-soft construction, creating a hinging action. The stick has a soft taper zone, a stiffer feel through the CCM logo, and a soft feel near the handle. When you need to get the puck off fast and your hands are higher on the shaft, the new Stick performs like a low-kick stick. When you need to drop your hands for a monster slap shot, the hybrid hinge action takes effect, with a more traditional mid-kick response. The new Jetspeed Stick is one of the best performing, most versatile top-end sticks on the market, hands down.

The new Stick blade boasts CCM’s patented Jetstream blade design with dampening layer technology. The blade contains more of the Sigmatex carbon fiber and includes a multi-channel with a dampening layer on the blade face. This provides a softer feel for better puck feel and control. Fortunately, the blade still gives you all the pop you could want. The new molding process CCM introduces for this year improves the blade consistency throughout, providing a better feel at all times, and improving the blade’s overall lifespan.

The senior 85 flex Jetspeed Stick weighs 420 grams. The new kick-point together with the blade core provides a quick release and superior stiffness for power shooting: in short, the pro level player will enjoy the best of both worlds in the new Jetspeed Stick. And if that wasn’t enough, CCM has given it a new, slick look. CCM appears to be headed in a new direction with the 2018 Jetspeed line, with its top-of-the-line Stick leading the way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nasty Stick!! Honestly I haven’t had a stick that’s felt so nice when stickhandling and a release that’s lightning quick in so long! I usually use the p28 curve but I want to switch it up and try the p30... can’t say enough about how nasty the curve feels. Must buy stick!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CCM Jetspeed Stick This is the first CCM stick I've ever bought. After two weeks of use, I have no complaints. The stick's feel is fantastic. It's super light and extremely well balanced. The hybrid kick still allows for a quick release. It's expensive, but worth it if performance is your main concern.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great stick terrible durability Got this stick for my son. He loves it. Until it broke In half I’m three months time. His teammates one lasted a month. Two kids at the tournament we were at also broke theirs in the same spot same time frame. One two months in the other three months in. None of these kids has ever broke a stick before.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice stick but broke to fast My 15 year old son loves the stick and we made the change from True brand. The stick broke in the middle after 2 months. We love the stick but simply cannot afford 260 bucks every two months. I would also like to say he has never broke a stick that quick ever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Stick, Questionable Durability So I bought this stick a few months ago and loved it right off the bat. Noticed it was a bit whippy at first because of the flex points on the stick. Release was sick and feel has probably been the best I've had in a long time. I broke one already, and I can already hear a crack in the factory warranty stick I was sent (after roughly a month of use twice a week).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great twig! Great stick!! Light as a Feather and the puck comes off the stick effortlessly!! Not sure about durability but it has lasted a few weeks anyway.
