New for the Fall 2017 season is CCMs Ribcor Trigger2 hockey stick offering even more performance features than ever before. With a new improved taper and an optimal flex ratio, the ease of loading and the quickness of release is unlike anything on the market. With the addition of an enhanced flex zone in the upper shaft, this stick allows players to load more energy by using their top hand as a lever. All of these features, combined with Sigmatex spread-low technology, gives you CCMs best performing Ribcor stick ever!

CCM has improved on the taper design of the Ribcor Trigger2 hockey stick. The seamless taper profile offers a smooth transition area that will ultimately help optimize the low kick flex profile. Improving this feature will help improve the quickness of your release and the shooting efficiency of the stick. Playing off the improved taper design, CCM has also optimized the vertical flex profile to allow players to move the puck into the ideal shooting position with greater ease. This translates into players being able to bring their stick in close to their body when loading the shot before release. One of the most interesting features of this stick is the Crossbow Effect. CCM developed this key feature directly from data acquired at its performance lab. The crossbow effect is created by an enhanced flex zone in the upper third of the shaft to allow players to store maximum energy in the upper and lower parts of the shaft.

The kick point of the Ribcor Trigger2 hockey stick has been optimized to be a low kick to allow ease and quickness of release. Popmatrix Technology with a Re-Engineered taper make up the construction of this stick. The new geometry offers a smooth transition area to help maximize bending and also efficiently transfer the stored energy. With the Ascent Blade 3 this stick has one of the lightest and strongest blades on the market, featuring a tactile blade surface for heightened puck feel and added reinforcement in the heel and toe. The shaft was manufactured with the lowest fiber areal weight carbon in the industry to optimize performance, minimize weight, and maximize strength. CCM has decided to use one of the lightest and strongest materials on the market in this stick with Sigmatex. An exclusive fabric developed by one of the worlds leaders in composite technology, Sigmatex is not only ultra-lightweight, but very strong due its high tension weaving process.

2017 CCM Blade Pattern Chart

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best stick I've ever owned..no bs I was a little hesitant at first because of the price, but Im so glad I decided to spend a little extra for this one! As soon as I picked it up I noticed how light it was. I have the 95 flex, Parise curve. It's easier to flex than my 85 Ribcore! I have a buddy that got the same stick and we just lamented over it on the bench. This stick actually brought my shooting to another level. I'm obviously so impressed that i took the the time to write about it. Great job on this one CCM

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for quick snap shots I got this stick when it came out and it has never failed me. It's perfect for quick shots and it's very light. Overall it's just a great stick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More durable, Same weight as original version I thought this stick would be lighter than the original trigger like the super tacks 2.0 is lighter than the original super tacks. But it wasn't, although the blade is a lot more durable and the stick in general with the sigmatex tech. Overall I really like this stick. I need a lot of sticks this year for AAA. So I went out and ordered 24 of these. 12 Crosby curve and 12 mcdavid curve. I also 2 sticks from each curve in 55 flex because of the whip and it will be good for quick releases.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best stick I’ve owned. This is my third one. Finally found a stick for life. Hope they never stop making these. Haven’t broke one yet. The tips do wear and tear but nothing out of the ordinary for face offs. My first trigger ASY lasted almost a year playing mostly Wing. Like this one much better then the other com models. These have a really concave further down the shaft that make it less body feeling then the other ccm sticks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome stick I bought this stick in the begging of my second college hockey season. probably the best stick i bought. light, nice grip, delivers an awesome shot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A awesome stick. more refined and durable The ribcore line has been great sticks for a few years now. With the use of SigmaTex, CCM has addressed the durability issues. The stick has very quick release and low kick point. A solid stick for any type of shooter. The puck feel is also pretty good. Liked the graphics on the Reckoner a bit better, but no complains about the Trigger 2.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trigger 2 PMT Bought this stick a couple weeks ago. By far the best stick I have ever gotten my hands on. I have the grip P29 curve with a 75 flex. Responsive, light and most important very durable. I take a lot of face offs and my Reckoner showed the wear almost immediately. This one has absolutely no marks on the shaft...as of yet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from POOR QUALITY Bought this stick for my 9 year old grandson around Thanksgiving as a Christmas present. He has used it for Jan and a couple days into Feb and the blade has cracked. Pure hockey only warrants the stick for 30 days as does CCM. Basically for a 9 year old to use a $200 stick for 5 weeks and the blade cracks I do not think is good quality. And to have only a 30 day warranty doesn't say much about your product. I understand 30 days to return due to wrong size, fit, whatever but workmanship should be longer in my opinion.

Doesn’t this sticks blade crumble to pieces like other Ribcors or Rbz 290’s or have they upped their game on the newer sticks?

Asked by: Nick456780
CCM has made lots of improvements to their sticks that I think you would notice when it comes to durability. As always, CCM composite sticks have a 30 day warranty just in-case anything happens. Thanks!

What curve Fromm ccm matches the p14 Toews curve

Asked by: Mark Rachfal
CCM doesn't offer a curve identical to Bauer's P14 curve. I would suggest taking a look at the P28 curve if you want something somewhat similar to the P14.

I'm a defense man and I don't really take shots during games. However when I do take shots I'm not looking to load it up with power I'm looking to get the puck off as fast and as easily as I can with the most velocity. Is this a good stick?

Asked by: cellyhard
CCM has improved on the taper design of the Ribcor Trigger2 hockey stick. The seamless taper profile offers a smooth transition area that will ultimately help optimize the low kick flex profile. Improving this feature will help improve the quickness of your release and the shooting efficiency of the stick . The stick is the highest end stick that CCM offers and with the new taper design and new blade construction offers a lightweight stick that is great for not only snap shots and puck control but also power behind harder slap shots .
