Whatever the game. Whatever the level. Ice, In-Line, or Field Hockey, Tacki-Mac introduces the kind of puck and stick control that Hockey Players have been hoping for, but could never get from tape. More and more Players and NHL'ers are counting on Tacki-Mac Grips for their total game control.

  • Works better than tape! Glove stays on the stick for unbeatable control!
  • The wetter it gets, the tighter it holds
  • Won't crack or dry out-Tape can't match it
  • Consistent feel from grip to grip
  • Quick and easy to apply
  • "Sand" Wrapped Texture
  • 4 1/2" Long (small size)
  • Fits junior and senior sticks
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install, great feel I just got one of these and installed it last week. Installation was a breeze and I really like the feel. It took about 24 hours (not 20 minutes) for it to set up and really be stuck in place so that it didn't rotate in my grip, but that's probably because it's winter and the inside of my house isn't very warm. I'm sure if you put one on during summer, it would set up very quickly. Honestly, the short version is probably a little shorter than what 90% of adult players will want. I'll order the long ones from now on, but I'm definitely planning on using these grips on all future sticks. The feel is really nice and like everyone has said, they don't tear or mark your gloves up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "Jack the Gripper" Reborn! Growing up in the 80s, I always wanted what 99 had on his stick. The famous, green (yes green), Jack the Gripper foam grip. After disappearing for a while, Tacki-Mac brought them back. A great alternative to tape. It won't tear up the palms of your gloves like tape does and is pretty easy to replace when needed. Also has a much softer feel than tape. It comes in multiple colors, sizes and textures. It's absolutely worth giving it a try.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Service I'm more impressed with the overall experiance with Total Hockey. Fast, efficient, and Up to Date with New Quality Products. I have used these foam grips since the old days when Wayne Gretzky used them under the name of 'The Gripper'. Tacki Mac has reproduced there own type which is very close to the original. Love them! Great stick control and does not damage the palms of your gloves. Thanks,

two questions

pictures shows it with a butt on it, is that how it comes? If so would it be easy to cut it off? and how thick is it, right now i put a layer of elastikon tape inbetween a layer white tape, gives it a thick feel thats a little soft too, or would i be able to put it right over my tape already?

Does this grip have grip?

Like places for fingers.
Asked by: Anonymous
No it doesn't. Look for the "ribbed" version of this product. The "Patrick Kane" version also has this feature. Both are available direct from Tacki Mac.

Is this tape thick?

Asked by: Anonymous
No, but it does feel a slight bit spongy. I'd recommend searching for the "textured" version of this product available direct from Tacki Mac. It feels and looks exactly like tape, but is much better.
