Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great skates! I purchased for boys 5 and 7 and they have worked out perfectly. They are a little large for the 5yo, because they start at a skate size 11, but he has adapted pretty well. If you are new to skate sizing, size one down from a shoe size. They have been an easy transition from the ice to the road.

Tour Code 9 Adjustable Inline Hockey Skates [Youth] in 1-4 would be the best option for sneaker size 5 as you go one size down from the sneaker size

My daughter wants to learn inline hockey and she is 4 and wears a toddler size 8 shoe almost size 9 shoe what size skate should I get her

Asked by: Sutter12
for youth inline skate boot sizing ( same for ice skates as well ) you generally go 1 size down from the youth sneaker size . For a youth size 9 shoe you would need a size 8 inline skate boot . Inline skates are not generally made that small in youth sizes , with most inlines starting at size youth 10 or 11 skate boot ......

Do these come with brakes? Can we attach one if necessary?

Asked by: cklam
Unfortunately, these do not come attached with brakes. There may be some aftermarket brakes you can look into attaching.

My 4 year old just started wearing his older brothers way too big skates looking for new ones but not sure if the size is too big? He's a size 11 child, 9Y hockey skate. TIA!

Asked by: Nike2324
I think these are going to be a little big. A player who wears an 11 shoe will typically be in a 10 skate. I think these are going to be a little big and if you can find a size 10 skate that should be the best. These sound like they would be a better fit than when he's wearing his older brothers so that's still a plus!

My 6 year old is in CCM 11 youth. I assume the 11-1 is the size to go? Pretty comparable to hockey boots sizing?

Asked by: CBolo
The sizing for inlines translates right over to ice skates. We would suggest the 11-1 size. Thanks!

Can the 1-4 youth Tour Code9 skates be baked. Also can they be adjusted to 1/2 sizes. Ex. 21/2. Thank you

Asked by: Riles346
These skates can be baked for a short amount of time if needed but you don't typically need to. The adjustable factor only allows for full-size adjustments so a 2.5 isn't possible, unfortunately. Thanks!
