The 2020 Warrior Covert QRE 10 Hockey stick has arrived and is the newest installment of Warrior’s top of the line Covert model. This addition to the line continues to build off previous generations and offers some key upgrades for 2020.

  • Edge Taper for explosive release
  • Minimus Carbon 1500D  for improved energy transfer
  • Shadow Feel for a well balanced and enhanced feel
  • Fuelcore + for reduced breakdown of materials in the blade and increased durability and feel.
  • Slide Grip for optimum grip and control

The Covert QRE 10 features an Edge Taper design that is engineered to drive flex energy through the hosel magnifying power and quickness. This design is ideal for quick release shooting because the Edge is easier to load. Energy transfers the shaft, blade and puck. This unique geometry is more stable than traditional tapers but still creates a very thin taper into the blade, so you’re still getting an extremely quick release.

A main upgrade in the 2020 model is carbon fiber Warrior has crafted the stick with. Minimus Carbon 1500D replaces the older 1200 design. This is a high strength, ultra-lightweight unidirectional design. The QRE 10 shaft is lighter and tougher than ever. This dynamic material has elastic properties, providing an excellent feel for all aspects of the game. This stick is not only built with shooting in mind but passing and stick handling, too.

Helping make this a very well-rounded stick is Shadow Feel. This construction creates an extremely balanced stick. Warrior claims this is the most balanced hockey stick ever produced, giving the player unmatched stick control and response during play. True1Shadow is the continuation of Warrior’s True one-piece design. A one-piece hockey stick helps to keep the stick lightweight while enhancing how it feels during play by giving you more control and better response.

Moving into the blade, Warrior’s Fuelcore+ gives shots an extra pop off the blade. The lightweight polymer blade is constructed with 25K Enigma Carbon weave around the core for exceptional durability and toughness. Fuelcore+ reduces the breakdown of materials in the blade and increases durability and feel.

Along the shaft, Warrior has applied a Slide Grip textured zone where the player most needs the grip. They removed unneeded grip areas to not only make a lighter stick but making it easier to slide your hands for poke checks and face-offs.

The Covert QRE 10 continues the evolution of the top of the line Warrior low kick stick. The QRE 10 combines technologies that provided unmatched load and release, while still providing a high end feel for your hands.

2019 Warrior Blade Pattern Chart

Rated 5 out of 5 by from light but sturdy feeling of agility and creativity This purchase represents the most money I have collectively assigned to my hockey stick. I have always bought used pro-stock gear online and it was often a crapshoot about the curve, condition, and feel of the stick. This stick has served me well in my adult beer league endeavors, thus far. Several goals - very quick stick handling. There is a light but sturdy feeling of agility and creativity that flows when I use it. 5 stars for sure. Would buy another and would definitely go back to Pure hockey.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warrior qre 10 Okay so I got this stick with a week left in my season because I broke my dx and wanted to try the qre line and I got a senior because it was so late in my season and I’m skinny but a tall guy so I got the 75 flex thinking it might be not that stiff but when I shoot with this it’s alright it’s nothing special I don’t think but overall it’s a okay stick I just think that it doesn’t compare to a Bauer or ccm

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh I've been playing with this stick for about two months now. I bought it to replace a $100 Ribcor. Sadly, I still prefer the Ribcor. Its not a terrible stick, but it's definitely the most I've spent on one. My buddy bought the QRE 20, and neither of us have been overly impressed with either.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Warrior sticks The sticks are absolutely awesome however it’s the wrong curve unfortunately I ordered what was supposed to be a equivalent to P29, P92 or the “backstrom” curve and it’s much much much closer to a PM9 or P88. Otherwise the sticks are absolutely amazing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warrior Covert QRE I’ve been playing with this stick for 2 months and I play rough. So far I’ve barley seen any chips in the stick.

What is the difference between W88 and W88M?

Asked by: ERRRKK
Same curve shape but the W88M is the max blade height. The taller blade can help with faceoffs, tips, and other similar parts of the game. All comes down to the player's personal preference. Thanks!

So if I need a 4 lie it would be a 3 here ?

Asked by: Kdhurd
This is how each curve breaks down based on how the lie compares to a Bauer/CCM stick. W01- 5 W03- 6 W05- 5.5 W28- 5.5 W88- 5.5 Thanks!

What is the lie of this stick?  This needs to be listed for all sticks along with weight. These are basic features any hockey player willing to spend this much needs to know.

Asked by: Lietho
The weight is provided in the question and answer section on this item page. This stick weighs in at a very light 401 grams based on the 85 flex that was weighed. In regards to lie, these numbers will be represented a little differently than other companies. The Warrior lie number is typically 1 number below how it would compare to other brands. Example: A Warrior lie 4 is a Bauer/CCM lie 5. To keep it easy, I'll break down each curve and the lie number they compare to in the other brands. No need to worry about converting from Warrior lie to another brand lie. W01- 5 W03- 6 W05- 5.5 W28- 5.5 W88- 5.5 Thanks!

Please start listing the weight of the sticks on your site. I end up looking on your competitors sites to find out the desired information.

Asked by: CGris
Great suggestion! We will continue to work on this. Stick weighs 401 grams at the senior length 85 flex. Thanks!
