Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth it Good weight and feel for a wooden stick. Blade is super tough, and takes blacktop clappers with ease. I would say that it's the nicest wooden stick I've ever owned, however, the wood could definitely be MUCH smoother before its painted. Got a few slivers when I was playing around with it fresh out of the box. Keep the gloves on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent inexpensive stick...would purchase again The stick was a little heavier than I expected (compared to my old stick), but other than that, it was exactly what I expected. There was a review I read mentioning the length, but at 5'9", it's perfect for me. I use it only for street hockey, so I'll probably be back in the coming months for another replacement, but at $20, you can't beat it. Shipping was also prompt, which is really important to me. Would definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought 1 Will Buy Again Great stick to keep in the rink, with its lightweight, balance, flexibility this stick won't leave you feeling iced. My only quarrel is keeping the blade wrapped, after a shift the tape was shaved along with some layers of blade. However that'll happen to any player who competes for his team and plays with heart.

is there a way to extend the stick to a bigger hieght?

Asked by: Evan M
no sorry - stick extension pieces are made for hollow composite stick shafts only and not made for wood shafts ...

The blade appears to be ABS between surface layers of fiberglass? Should this be wrapped in an appropriate tape?

Asked by: MDinTV
You don't need to use tape to protect the blade but it could help with extra puck/ball grip. Thanks!
