The all new Bauer NSX ice hockey skates are a recreational level hockey skate designed for players new to the sport. Starting from the bottom of the skate and working our way up we will highlight each section of the skate. The runner or steel blade on the NSX ice hockey skates is a stainless-steel runner. The runner is secured inside the TUUK LIGHTSPEED Pro II holder. The NSX ice hockey skates do not feature thermoformable material. The footbed on the NSX ice hockey skates is made with EVA form to a comfortable base under your foot. The ankle padding inside the NSX ice hockey skates is Anaform ankle padding for a comfortable and plush cushion. The liner is made with a microfiber material that with be comfortable and durable. The quarter package on the Bauer NSX ice hockey skates is an injected composite weave material to provide a supportive boot for beginning players. The tongue on the NSX ice hockey skates is a 2-piece felt tongue with metatarsal guard to protect against lace-bite. The Bauer NSX ice hockey skates are an all around good choice for recreational skaters and players who are looking for an affordable ice hockey skate.

SENIOR Hockey Skates
Senior hockey skates are sized to fit adults and full grown teenagers with a Men's US shoe size of 7 or greater.

JUNIOR Hockey Skates
Junior hockey skates are sized to fit kids in the range of approximately 8 to 12 years old with a US shoe size of 2 to 6.5.

YOUTH Hockey Skates
Youth hockey skates are sized to fit toddlers and young children in the age range of approximately 9 years old and younger with a US youth shoe size of 1.5 or smaller.

*Female Skaters*
The difference between men's shoes and women's shoes is 1.5 to 2 sizes. So, if you wear size 9 women's shoes, that translates to a men's size 7.5 or 7.0, which would put you in a size 6 senior hockey skate. More simply put, go 3 sizes down from your women's shoe size in order to find your hockey skate size.
